MLB Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Thursday (8/3)
Let's take a look at a few Same Game Parlay Bets on tap for Thursday.
Thursday's MLB Best Same Game Parlay Bets
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
New York Mets at Kansas City Royals
- Leg 1: Mets Moneyline (-105)
- Leg 2: Francisco Lindor Over 0.5 Singles (-125)
- Leg 3: Francisco Lindor Over 0.5 RBIs (+150)
The Mets will visit Kansas City as the Royals look to sweep the 3-game series and win their 6th straight game. Although the Royals are red hot and the Mets are somewhat reeling, I still like the Mets to come out on top in this game and avoid the sweep. The pitching matchup features two struggling pitchers, so look for a high-scoring game. Carlos Carrasco hasn’t found his groove with the Mets yet, but I like him to get back on track against a struggling Royals lineup (.237 team batting average). I like Francisco Lindor to break out in this series today at the plate with a plus-matchup against the righty after an 0-for-4 day yesterday. I expect him to have a hit or two, including a single and RBI, batting in the heart of this Mets lineup. Before his 0-for-4 game yesterday, Lindor had seven hits in his previous four games.
Look for Lindor and the Mets to get back on track today and close out this series with a win.
Parlay Odds: +475
Houston Astros at New York Yankees
- Leg 1: Astros Moneyline (-110)
- Leg 2: Kyle Tucker Over 0.5 Singles (-110)
- Leg 3: Yordan Alvarez Over 0.5 Singles (+125)
The Astros will visit New York as they look to begin a series against the Yankees. I believe the Astros have the edge in the pitching matchup, with righty Christian Javier (7-2) throwing. Righty Clarke Schmidt will throw for the Yankees in a big-time matchup at home. Schmidt has improved over the past month or so compared to the beginning of the season, but I still feel the Astros lineup will be too much for him tonight. I like Yordan Alvarez to have a single with a plus-matchup against the righty and continue his 6-game hitting streak since returning from injury. Look for Kyle Tucker to continue his incredible season at the plate, where he's batting .300, including 74 RBIs and an OPS of .886.
I like the Astros to break through against Schmidt and win tonight behind their big hitters.
Parlay Odds: +550
Pittsburgh Pirates at Milwaukee Brewers
- Leg 1: Pirates Moneyline (+105)
- Leg 2: Bryan Reynolds Over 0.5 Singles (-115)
- Leg 3: Christian Yelich Over 0.5 Singles (-130)
The Pirates will visit the Brewers as they begin a 4-game series in Milwaukee. He’s been struggling as of late, but I like Mitch Keller to return to his form from the first half of the season and get back in the win column tonight against a familiar foe. Righty Adrian Houser is pitching for the Brewers and has been decent this season, but has given up a total of 12 ER in his past 3 outings. I like Bryan Reynolds to take advantage of the lefty and have a single with the potential for more. He’ll look to continue his 6-game hitting streak where he’s had 10 hits over that span. On the other side, I like Christian Yelich to stay hot against right-handed pitching, where he's batting .305, including an OPS of .922 this season.
I like the Pirates to break through against Houser and rely on Keller to shut down the Brewers lineup on the road.
Parlay Odds: +500
