Nationals vs. Tigers MLB Same Game Parlay
- Leg 1: Lane Thomas Over 1.5 Total Bases (+115)
- Leg 2: Keibert Ruiz Over 1.5 Total Bases (+150)
- Leg 3: Nick Senzel Over .5 Hits (-155)
The Detroit Tigers will pitch Kenta Maeda for tonight’s matchup against the Nationals. Maeda has a 6.25 ERA this season after facing 175 batters. He’s also allowed a .267 ISO and wOBA of .380 to those 175 batters this year.
In addition, Maeda has earned below 33% of ground balls and has allowed 29.8% of fly balls this year.
While the Nationals don’t have the most epic roster or lineup, they’ve got guys contributing against righties. Lane Thomas has hit a .209 ISO and wOBA of .347 against his last 47 righties. Meanwhile, Keibert Ruiz, a switch-hitter who would bat lefty, has hit a .167 ISO with a wOBA of .339 in the previous 30 days against righties. He’s also struck out only 11.1% of the time against righties in the last month.
Finally, Nick Senzel hasn’t hit for lots of power, but he’s still got a .394 wOBA with only 12.9% of strikeouts. Let’s finish off the parlay with Senzel to get a hit.

Rockies vs. Twins MLB Same Game Parlay
- Leg 1: Ezequiel Tovar Over 1.5 Total Bases (+115)
- Leg 2: Michael Toglia Over 1.5 Total Bases (+160)
- Leg 3: Louie Varland Over 4.5 Ks (-215)
Only two Colorado Rockies hitters have been consistent against righties over the last 30 days. Ezequiel Tovar has smashed a .342 ISO and wOBA of .459 against righties over the previous month, while Michael Toglia has hit a .200 ISO and wOBA of .372 against righties through his last 11 plate appearances.
The rest of the projected lineup has struggled badly against righties, with six batters hitting an ISO of no better than .113 against righties in the last 30 days.
Meanwhile, the Rockies will face righty Louie Varland, who has only thrown against 87 batters this year. He’s returning to the mound after allowing a .284 ISO and wOBA of .461 to his first 87 batters earlier in the season.
Varland struggled badly with both righties and lefties, giving Tovar and Toglia legitimate potential for success tonight.
That said, Varland should still rack up strikeouts. He’s added 20.7% of strikeouts this season, including 25% against lefties. He’ll face a Rockies lineup that has struck out 25.3% of the time over the last 30 days against righties. This projected lineup also has more lefties than righties in the lineup to begin with.
Varland could allow extra-base hits to Tovar and Toglia and still successfully earn strikeouts. After all, Varland will want to earn a high rate of strikeouts with guys on base!
