Here are two same game parlays to consider for tonight’s action.

Pittsburgh Pirates at Chicago Cubs

Jameson Taillon will get the start for the Cubs tonight. He’s been awful against lefties over the last month, giving up an ISO of .353 and wOBA of .442 to his last 43 lefties.

Taillon has only struck out 16.3% of lefties and has walked over 21% of southpaws. He’s also given up 44.5% of fly balls, and 29.6% of line drives and earned 18.5% of ground balls against lefties over the last 30 days.

So let’s stack lefties against him tonight. Jack Suwinski, a lefty, is hitting a .373 ISO and wOBA of .421 against his last 62 righties. Ji-hawn Bae has hit a .368 wOBA with just 18.4% of strikeouts. And finally, Tucupita Marcano has knocked a .220 ISO and wOBA of .334 against his last 62 righties faced with just 11.3% of strikeouts. Those lefties will put the ball in play and will likely make good contact when doing so.

Parlay Odds: +689

Washington Nationals at Houston Astros

With Yordan Alvarez out of the lineup, the Astros are finally getting consistent production from other guys again. They’ll face Patrick Corbin, a lefty pitcher who allows a .207 ISO and wOBA of .426 to his last 100 righties.

Corbin has allowed 31.2% of line drives and has given up 58.8& of hard contact over the last month to righties.

Mauricio Dubon has recently lit up the box score, especially against lefties. He’s hitting a .231 ISO and wOBA of 498 with just 15.4% of strikeouts. Meanwhile, Alex Bregman, another righty, has hit a .167 ISO and wOBA of .370 against his last 30 lefties faced.

Finally, Jose Abreu is starting to come around. He’s hitting a .259 ISO and wOBA of .402 against his last 32 lefties.

Corbin isn’t getting many swings and misses and has allowed a BABIP of .395 to his last 100 rights. I know Corbin has been better on the mound this year than other previous years. However, he’s struggling against righties and will eventually start to pitch like his usual self, especially because he’ll be facing more righties in lineups moving forward.

Let’s back those hard-hitting righties against Corbin tonight.
