MLB Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Tuesday (8/29)
We’ve got a full 15-game slate on the MLB schedule tonight! Every game will be played in the nighttime.
There are some exciting matchups, and then there are some matchups that should be blowouts. With that said, I’ve added a couple of same-game parlays to my betting portfolio. Follow along!
Tuesday’s Best MLB Same Game Parlay Bets

Houston Astros vs. Boston Red Sox
- Leg 1: Alex Verdugo Over 1.5 Total Bases (-115)
- Leg 2: Rafael Devers Over 1.5 Total Bases (-135)
- Leg 3: Justin Turner Over 1.5 Total Bases (-105)
The Boston Red Sox-Houston Astros matchups have given us many runs and blowouts over the last seven days. J.P. France will take the hill after allowing 10 runs to the Red Sox on 81 pitches in his previous start. France induced 33% of grounders and allowed 60% of hard contact in that start against the Red Sox last week.
The right-hander has to face this Red Sox lineup again. Boston’s top three batters have destroyed right-handed pitching over the last month. Alex Verdugo has smacked a .225 ISO and wOBA of .392. Rafael Devers has hit a .234 ISO and wOBA of .463 against his last 78 righties.
Finally, Justin Turner has slugged a .241 ISO and wOBA of .414 against righties over the last 30 days.
All three batters have struck out below 17.5% of the time against righties. Meanwhile, France has only struck out 17.8% of batters this season.
France has allowed over 31% of line drives in the last 30 days and has given up 47% of hard contact. Let’s stack those Red Sox in this parlay.

Colorado Rockies vs. Atlanta Braves
- Leg 1: Ozzie Albies Over 1.5 Total Bases (-165)
- Leg 2: Matt Olson Over 1.5 Total Bases (-160)
- Leg 3: Ryan McMahon Over 1.5 Total Bases (+140)
The Atlanta Braves playing in Coors Field just isn’t fair. This team added 14 runs to the scoreboard last night and will likely do the same thing in tonight’s game.
Peter Lambert is scheduled to make another start for Colorado. He’s allowed a .256 ISO and wOBA of .345 to his last 50 lefties. He’s also allowed a .217 ISO and wOBa of .384 to 138 lefties this season.
Meanwhile, lefty-handed hitter Matt Olson has smashed a .333 ISO and wOBA of .456 against his last 81 righties. Ozzie Albies has also hit a .333 ISO and wOBA of .414 against his last 60 righties as a left-handed hitter.
On the other hand, Charlie Morton will make his next start for the Braves. Morton has had an up-and-down season. Over the last 30 days, he’s watched lefties hit a .357 wOBA against him.
Ryan McMahon is a left-handed hitter, slugging a .312 ISO and wOBA of .416 against righties over the last 30 days. Charlie Morton won’t earn a no-hitter or even a shutout. The Rockies can do some damage and Ryan McMahon will be in the middle of that production for Colorado tonight.
