MLB Same Game Parlay Odds & Picks: Wednesday (8/14)
Regarding baseball betting, same-game parlays (SGPs) offer an extra sizzle and spice. These SGPs allow you to combine multiple legs into a customizable wager with potentially massive payouts. Whether you're a seasoned bettor or a curious newcomer, SGPs provide an enticing way to engage with America's favorite pastime.
Remember, these are high-risk, high-reward bets so you won't be hitting winners every day but when you do, it'll be well worth it. Remember to shop around for the best odds. It's been a tough couple of weeks, missing a lot of parlays by one leg. But hey, we bounce back. Let's get to it.

Colorado Rockies at Arizona Diamondbacks
We're keeping it simple here with an expected high-scoring outcome for today's game in Arizona. Jordan Montgomery takes the bump for Arizona and the veteran does not exactly have the best splits with an 8.14 ERA at home and a 7.94 ERA in day games. Neither of those are promising but both are great for Rockies scoring.
To reach five runs is perfectly capable for Colorado here, a team that has handled southpaws well, and the Diamondbacks have a bottom-half-ranked bullpen. But the worst bullpen in the league belongs to the Rockies. With a 5.61 ERA, they aren't very good at stopping runs.
Tanner Gordon is just a rookie with a 0-3 record with a 7.11 ERA in day games. He's allowed at least four runs in three of his five starts and on the road. I'm confident in Arizona's ability to outscore the Rockies in a high-scoring affair. This is a higher risk higher reward bet I'll be putting a single unit on.

Houston Astros at Tampa Bay Rays
- Leg 1: Josh Lowe 2+ Hits (+330)
- Leg 2: Alex Bregman Under 0.5 Hits (+190)
Instead of playing team matchups, I'm going player-dependent matchups here. Josh Lowe has seen Ronel Blanco quite well and Blanco's splits across the last five games have been a struggle. Considering Lowe is batting .500 with a high slugging percentage, I'm betting on him to tag a pair of hits at great odds.
What I see as riskier is taking Alex Bregman to go hitless. He is 0-for-6 against Zack Littell, who has a 2.53 ERA against the Astros in his career. Bregman is a solid hitter but has not faced off against Littell or the rest of this Tampa Bay staff that well. It's much easier to bet his under than Lowe's over. If you would like to add a different player's over I would go with Jose Altuve, who has seen Littell quite well. This is another high-risk, high-reward, single-unit parlay to bed on.
