Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Milwaukee Brewers

The Milwaukee Brewers will send out young ace Jacob Misiorowski for tonight’s matchup against the Dodgers. The Miz has earned just 21.9% of strikeouts against righties in the last month, and the Dodgers should still have five righties in the lineup tonight.

Additionally, the Dodgers have struck out 19% of the time against righties in the last month, with only Shohei Ohtani and Teoscar Hernandez posting high strikeout rates during that time. We’ll take Misiorowski to add fewer than 7.5 strikeouts tonight.

Plus, he’s also allowed a .330 wOBA to his last 32 righties. Those righties have earned a .435 BABIP against Misiorowski in the last 30 days. Therefore, we’ll also add Mookie Betts to earn at least two total bases. He’s hit a .191 ISO and a .354 wOBA with only 10.9% strikeouts against righties in the last month.

On the other hand, Tarik Skubal will get the call. The left-handed ace has struck out 30.9% of batters in the last month, but he’s facing a Brewers lineup that has only struck out 17% of the time against lefties in the last 30 days. In fact, like the Dodgers, the Brewers have only two players with a high strikeout rate against lefties. I’ll add Skubal to add fewer than 7.5 strikeouts tonight, as well.
