MLB Same Game Parlays & Picks: Monday (5/11)
We turned in a profit with our MLB same game parlays (SGPs) last Monday while riding part of the Chicago Cubs’ home winning streak to a +321 three-leg SGP cash.
This week’s MLB slate kicks off with a much smaller six-game schedule, but there is plenty of data to scour, with four of those six games being between division rivals.
Let’s dive into the two best MLB SGPs for Monday, May 11th.

Baltimore Orioles vs. New York Yankees
- Leg 1: Orioles Moneyline (+144)
- Leg 2: Aaron Judge 1+ Hits (-258)
- Leg 3: Pete Alonso 1+ RBI (+170)
Last weekend, the Yankees completed a four-game sweep of American League East rival Baltimore, outscoring them 39-10 in the Bronx. That brought New York’s record to 12-1 in the last 13 games against the Orioles.
But the Orioles have an advantage today of having played their weekend series at home while the Yankees were swept in Milwaukee. New York hasn’t performed well when facing a pitcher for the first time, which they will do against Brandon Young in his 17th career start today.
Even though I expect a quiet day from the Bronx Bombers, Aaron Judge should be good for at least one hit after batting .314 and turning in more multi-hit games (three) than hitless games (two) this month.
Meanwhile, Pete Alonso has come on strong after slugging .259 over his first 14 games. He recently had a four-game extra-base hit streak and a nine-game hitting streak during which he batted .333 with four doubles, four home runs and 10 RBI.
Alonso is 2-for-4 with a home run against Ryan Weathers, who may take time to get readjusted after being scratched from his start last Thursday with a stomach virus.

Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Texas Rangers
- Leg 1: Rangers Moneyline (-136)
- Leg 2: Nathan Eovaldi Under 2.5 Earned Runs (-167)
- Leg 3: Josh Jung Over 1.5 Total Bases (+142)
Over the weekend, the Diamondbacks snapped a three-game losing streak, but it was just their fifth win in the last 17 games overall. Meanwhile, the Rangers snapped the Cubs’ double-digit winning streak with their third shutout of the season (tied for third-most in the American League), and lowered their MLB-best bullpen ERA to 2.84.
It is fascinating that two of Nathan Eovaldi’s best starts of the season have come in back-to-back appearances against the American League’s top-scoring team in the Yankees.
While Eovaldi has been rocked for five-plus runs in three starts, he also has two other scoreless starts of seven innings, and has made four quality starts altogether. He should be in for a solid outing against an Arizona lineup ranked 23rd in wRC+ and wOBA, and 22nd in home runs in road games this season.
The last leg of my same-game parlay expects Josh Jung again to be a catalyst for the Rangers’ offense. He entered Sunday leading all MLB third basemen with 43 hits and 17 extra-base hits. He has gone over this projected total nine times in the last 15 games.
Parlay Odds: +571
