Philadelphia Phillies vs. Atlanta Braves

As of this morning, neither team has announced a starter for Game 3. That said, Grant Holmes will likely take the mound for the Braves tonight. The righty has dominated left-handed pitching, but has struggled against righties as a right-handed pitcher throughout the season.

In the last 30 days, Holmes has allowed a .244 ISO and a wOBA of .373, with only 18.2% of strikeouts and 33.3% of fly balls to righties. In addition, Holmes has allowed a 15.2% barrel rate and has given up 87.9% of hard contact.

The Phillies righties should be able to take advantage. Trea Turner has a .172 ISO and a .325 wOBA with only 19.7% of strikeouts against righties in the last month. Alec Bohm has struggled more against righties recently, but he’s coming off a huge home run in Game 2.

Meanwhile, J.T. Realmuto hasn’t had much success either, but he’s hit nearly 28% of line drives and a team-best 13.9% barrel rate against righties in the last 30 days. Those numbers should translate into success.

Stack Philadelphia righties tonight.
