Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Colorado Rockies
- Leg 1: Spencer Horwitz Over 1.5 Total Bases (-130)
- Leg 2: Brandon Lowe Over 1.5 Total Bases (-185)
- Leg 3: Tyler Callihan Over 1.5 Total Bases (-120)
The Colorado Rockies are set to pitch Michael Lorenzen today. The righty has really struggled against lefties over the last month, allowing a .317 ISO and a wOBA of .487 to his last 47 lefties. Those lefties have hit 48.5% of hard contact with 27.3% of line drives. They’ve also added a 9.1% barrel rate in the last 30 days and have struck out just 17.4% of the time.
We’ll want to stack Pirates lefties today.
Spencer Horwitz has a .219 ISO and a wOBA of .388 against his last 90 righties. Brandon Lowe has smacked a .282 ISO and a wOBA of .348 against his last 81 righties. Tyler Callihan has added a .300 ISO and a wOBA of .406 over the last month against righties.
Pittsburgh’s lineup looks lethal against Lorenzen, especially with the game being played in Colorado. Take advantage.

New York Mets vs. Philadelphia Phillies
- Leg 1: Kyle Schwarber Over 1.5 Total Bases (+105)
- Leg 2: David Peterson Under 4.5 Strikeouts (+104)
- Leg 3: Zack Wheeler Over 6.5 Strikeouts (-106)
After launching three homers last night, Kyle Schwarber still looks great on paper for tonight’s game. He has a .189 ISO and a wOBA of .425 against his last 43 lefties as a left-handed batter.
Tonight, Schwarber will face David Peterson, who has allowed a .211 ISO and a wOBA of .359 to his last 19 lefties. Those lefties have struck out fewer than 16% of the time and have hit nearly 44% of hard contact against Peterson over the last 30 days.
Additionally, Peterson has struck out just 12.2% of batters over the last 30 days. He’ll face a Philadelphia lineup that has four batters with strikeout rates below 19% against lefties.
Meanwhile, Zack Wheeler has struck out 27.6% of batters over the last 30 days. He’ll face a Mets squad that has five batters who have struck out at least 27.5% of the time against righties. There’s plenty of strikeout potential for Wheeler tonight.
