Milwaukee Brewers vs. Colorado Rockies

The Colorado Rockies are set to pitch left-hander Kyle Freeland today. He has allowed a .345 ISO and a wOBA of .483 to his last 95 righties. He’s also allowed a .391 batting average on balls in play (BABIP) to those righties, while giving up a 15.3% barrel rate and 34.7% of fly balls.

Freeland will face Andrew Vaughn of the Brewers, who has added a .263 ISO and a wOBA of .594 against lefties over the last 30 days. The Brewers don’t have a ton of pop against lefties right now, but Vaughn is the lone right-hander putting in work.

That said, Freeland is facing a Brewers lineup that has struck out almost 25% of the time against lefties. But Freeland has struck out only 15.8% of batters over the last month. His strikeout rate has dipped over the last 30 days. That’s why I’ll take the under on his strikeouts prop in this one.

Shane Drohan will get the start for the Brewers. The lefty has added 32.4% of strikeouts against his last 71 batters faced. There are four batters in the Rockies lineup that have struck out at least 26.9% of the time over the last month.

Parlay Odds: +416

New York Mets vs. San Diego Padres

The Mets and Padres will play a rubber match of a three-game series later today. Randy Vasquez is scheduled to start for the Padres. The right-hander has allowed a .250 ISO and a wOBA of .407 to his last 61 lefties. He’s also allowed a 10.2% barrel rate, 65.3% hard-hit rate and over 30% of fly balls to lefties over the last 30 days.

Vasquez has also struck out just 12.8% of batters over the last month, struggling against even righties in the strikeout column. The Mets have just three big targets for strikeouts against righties. Plus, Juan Soto and Jared Young have each raked against righties over the last month.

Soto has hit a .362 ISO and a wOBA of .413 against his last 66 righties, while Jared Young, who will hit right behind Soto, has added a .435 ISO and a wOBA of .506 against his last 27 righties. Those two could have major days at the plate against Vasquez.
