Kansas City Royals vs. Toronto Blue Jays
- Leg 1: Jac Caglianone Over 1.5 Total Bases (+110)
- Leg 2: Vinnie Pasquantino Over 1.5 Total Bases (+120)
- Leg 3: Kyle Isbel Over 1.5 Total Bases (+200)
The Toronto Blue Jays will send out Spencer Arrightti for tonight’s matchup against the Kansas City Royals. The former Astros starter has struggled against lefties all season. In fact, he’s allowed a .187 ISO and a wOBA of .356 to 235 lefties this season. Those lefties have hit over 28% of line drives and a 9% barrel percentage against righties.
Meanwhile, the Royals have plenty of lefties that have hit righties well recently. Jac Caglianone has added a .278 ISO and a wOBA of .475 against his last 58 righties. Additionally, Vinnie Pasquantino has come back from injury and performed. He’s hit a .250 ISO and a wOBA of .430 against his last 23 righties.
Finally, Kyle Isbel, another lefty, has contributed a .194 ISO and a wOBA of .321 against his last 38 righties.
I love the idea of stacking the lefties against Arrighetti tonight.

Arizona Diamondbacks vs. San Francisco Giants
- Leg 1: Jose Cabrera Under 3.5 Strikeouts (-125)
- Leg 2: Landen Roupp Under 4.5 Strikeouts (-130)
- Leg 3: Rafael Devers Over 1.5 Total Bases (+115)
Jose Cabrera will take the hill for the Diamondbacks tonight. The right-hander has struck out just 14.8% of batters this season, while allowing a .195 ISO and a wOBA of .325 to 45 lefties this year. The Giants have a few guys who strike out, but overall, the projected lineup has struck out just 20.1% of the time against righties over the last 30 days.
Additionally, Rafael Devers has socked a .373 ISO and a wOBA of .454 against his last 62 righties. Devers has been on an absolute tear. Plus, he’s struck out below 15% of the time against righties in the last month.
Lastly, it’ll be Landen Roupp for the Giants. The righty has earned just 14.4% of strikeouts over the last month. He’ll go up against a Diamondbacks team that has combined to strike out just 17.2% of the time against righties using the projected lineup. We’ll take Roupp’s under, too.
