Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Cleveland Guardians
- Leg 1: Shohei Ohtani Over 1.5 Total Bases (-140)
- Leg 2: Freddie Freeman Over 1.5 Total Bases (-115)
- Leg 3: Max Muncy Over 1.5 Total Bases (+155)
The Cleveland Guardians will send out Tanner Bibee for tonight’s game against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Bibee has struggled against both sides of the plate. However, more recently, he has been better against right-handed pitchers. Yet, he’s still having issues with lefties.
This season, Bibee has allowed a .278 ISO and wOBA of .354 against his first 99 lefties. Over the last 30 days, he’s only struck out 10.4% of lefties and has allowed almost the same amount of fly balls as ground balls induced.
Meanwhile, he’ll take on three powerful lefties - Shohei Ohtani, Freddie Freeman and Max Muncy. Ohtani has socked a .524 ISO and wOBA of .500 with only 21.6% of strikeouts over the last month against righties. He’s also hit a 29.2% barrel rate against righties in the previous 30 days. Freddie Freeman has knocked a .286 ISO and wOBA of .480 against his last 71 righties. He’s another lefty in the Dodgers’ lineup. He’s hit 60% of hard contact and 32% of line drives against righties in the last 30 days.
Muncy has launched a .237 ISO and wOBA of .405 against his last 75 righties. He is usually super patient at the plate and gets into a lot of favorable counts against righties. Muncy has hit nearly 41% of fly balls against righties in the last month.
Let’s stack up the lefties tonight.

Cincinnati Reds vs. Kansas City Royals
- Leg 1: Brady Singer Under 3.5 Strikeouts (+124)
- Leg 2: Vinnie Pasquantino Over 1.5 Total Bases (+115)
- Leg 3: Kyle Isbel Over 0.5 Hits (-150)
Brady Singer takes on his former team tonight. I’m sure he’ll want some revenge. However, he’s ultimately been so bad that it’s unlikely to work out for him. Singer has allowed a .308 ISO and wOBA of .389 to his last 44 lefties. He’s also struck out only 12.8% of batters over the last 30 days.
Singer will take on a Royals lineup that has only struck out 14.4% of the time against righties over the last month. Only Bobby Witt Jr. has a higher strikeout rate than 20.6% on the Royals against righties in the last 30 days.
Meanwhile, Vinnie Pasquantino has smoked a .258 ISO and wOBA of .382 against his last 69 righties. We counted on him yesterday, and we’ll go back to him today. Next, Kyle Isbel has hit a .324 ISO and wOBA of .445 against his last 42 righties. The left-handed outfielder will likely bat last in the order, but he’s been red-hot against righties over the last 30 days. This is a good spot for Isbel to at least earn one hit. Singer has given up more fly balls than ground balls induced this season against lefties.
