Toronto Blue Jays vs. Cleveland Guardians
- Leg 1: Eric Lauer Over 4.5 Strikeouts (+140)
- Leg 2: Bo Bichette Over 1.5 Total Bases (-175)
- Leg 3: Ernie Clement Over 1.5 Total Bases (-120)
The Toronto Blue Jays will send Eric Lauer to the mound today. He’s a left-handed pitcher who has earned 27.4% of strikeouts over the last month. In addition, he’s struck out 25.9% of batters over the last 30 days.
Lauer will battle a Guardians lineup that has struck out 26.3% of the time against lefties over the last 30 days. They have five batters who have struck out at least 26.3% of the time against lefties in the previous 30 days. Beyond that, the projected lineup has hit a combined .107 ISO and wOBA of .252 against lefties. Lauer has a ton of potential tonight.
On the other hand, Logan Allen will start for the Guardians. He’s another lefty who has allowed a .212 ISO and wOBA of .345 to his last 96 batters. He’ll go up against a couple of big Blue Jays bats. Bo Bichette has nailed a .242 ISO and wOBA of .416 with only 14.3% of strikeouts against lefties over the last 30 days. Ernie Clement has added a .382 ISO and wOBA of .623 with 2.9% of strikeouts against lefties over the previous month.
Those two should put together some quality at-bats against Allen and the Guardians.
Parlay Odds: +516
Seattle Mariners vs. Minnesota Twins
- Leg 1: Chris Paddack Under 4.5 Strikeouts (-132)
- Leg 2: Cal Raleigh Over 1.5 Total Bases (-135)
- Leg 3: Matt Wallner Over 1.5 Total Bases (+100)
The Twins will send Chris Paddack to the hill today. He’s a righty who has struggled against lefties over the last month. In addition, he’s struck out only 16.7% of batters this season and has added just 17.6% of strikeouts over the last 30 days. He’ll take on a Mariners lineup that has only three batters who have struck out more than 21.7% of the time against righties. Paddack doesn’t have many strikeout targets tonight.
Cal Raleigh has slugged a .485 ISO and wOBA of .474 against his last 73 righties. He’s been red-hot as of late and should continue his hot stretch against Paddack tonight.
Meanwhile, the Mariners will counter with Luis Castillo. He has given up a .262 ISO and wOBA of .358 to his last 52 lefties as a right-handed pitcher. He’s almost walked as many batters as he has struck out over the last 30 days when facing lefties. He’s also given up 64.7% of hard contact with 32.4% of fly balls allowed.
These numbers aren’t ideal against Matt Wallner. The left-handed outfielder has slugged a .386 ISO and wOBA of .374 against his last 49 righties. He’s also limited ground balls and has hit 66.7% of hard contact to go along with a team-best 23.3% barrel rate over the last 30 days against righties. He’s got plenty of potential to add at least two total bases.
Parlay Odds: +501
