Friday’s Best MLB Player Prop Bets

    (Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Mookie Betts Over 1.5 Total Bases (+120)

Over the last 30 days, Mookie Betts has smashed a .381 ISO and wOBA of .430 against righties as a right-handed hitter. He’s also struck out only 10.9% of the time and has hit just 32.4% of ground balls.

Beyond that, he’s added 40.5% of hard contact and a 10.8% barrel percentage but only has a .242 BABIP to show for it. Look for that BABIP to creep up as long as he continues to put up these stats.

He’ll have a solid opportunity against Gerrit Cole tonight. Cole has allowed a .354 wOBA to his last 38 righties as a right-handed pitcher. He has also given up more than 44% of hard contact and struck out zero right-handed batters over the last 30 days.

Betts is very good at putting the ball in play and has really good numbers against righties. Take him to earn at least two total bases.

Gerrit Cole Under 15.5 Outs (-180)

Gerrit Cole has pitched in three postseason games this year. He’s failed to pitch beyond five innings in two of the first three.

Cole has allowed 19 hits in 16.1 innings and, again, has struggled to earn strikeouts. He’s given up more fly balls and line drives than ground balls over the last 30 days and has allowed 56.3% of hard contact during that time.

Cole  also added just 7.6% of swinging strikes over the last 30 days. He’s not fooling anyone, especially the Dodgers lineup.

Los Angeles has hit a .189 ISO and wOBA of .349 with its starting lineup against righties over the last month. The team has also struck out 17.7% of the time and has walked 11% of the time. Los Angeles will work counts and get Cole out of the game before the 6th inning.

Aaron Boone likely won’t allow Cole to pitch to this Dodgers lineup a third time around the order.

Aaron Judge Over 1.5 Total Bases (+100)

The Yankees will face Jack Flaherty, a righty who has failed to pitch consistently against other righties in the last 30 days. Over the previous month, Flaherty has allowed a .350 ISO and wOBA of .429 to his last 47 righties.

He’s also struck out below 20% of righties and has allowed 64.5% of hard contact to those righties.

In addition, Flaherty has allowed 35.5% of fly balls and has induced only 35.5% of ground balls.

He’ll take on Aaron Judge, who has socked a .394 ISO and wOBA of .395 against righties as a righty himself over the last 30 days. Judge has hit only 25% of ground balls in the previous 30 days against righties and has hit 50% of fly balls. He’s also earned a 95% hard contact rate and a 25% barrel percentage against righties over the last month.
