WAS @ PHI over 43.5

Have we considered there’s a chance Philadelphia scores more than 43.5 points on their own in this one? Ok, so that probably won’t happen, but they’re undeniably a top 3 offense in the NFL, no matter how you split it. They’re scoring nearly 30 points per game. Washington, on the other hand, is scoring 19 points per game with Taylor Heinicke under center, two more than they were with Carson Wentz. Undeniably, this won’t be an offensive shootout, but Philadelphia’s offense is good enough to put up 30 points, and Washington should have no problem scoring 14.

PHI -6.5 1H

The Eagles have proven to be the most complete team in the NFL this season, boasting top-5 units on both sides of the ball. This has allowed them to jump out to fast starts all year long, holding a 7-1 record ATS in the first half. On the other hand, the Commanders tend to have sluggish starts to their games, going 3-6 ATS in the first half. I like the Eagles to continue their first half dominance in front of their home crowd in a primetime spot, especially with a little extra time to prepare coming off of a Thursday night game.

Eagles Halftime/Full-time Winner

I tried playing Eagles Halftime/Full-Time last time they were big favorites against Houston, and the Texans scored on the last drive of the first half to tie the score. Despite this loss, I’m returning to Eagles Halftime/Full Time as great exposure to the thesis that the Eagles will win this game handily. With the spread sitting at a full 10.5 points and the normal moneyline play sitting at -500, I don’t see much value in either play.

The Eagles have been the best first-half team in the NFL this season. They had led at halftime in every game this season up until last week’s first-half tie against Houston. Their 20.1 first-half points scored per game is first in the NFL by 3.8 points, while their 9.0 first-half points allowed is the 7th-best mark in the league.

Washington, on the other hand, has struggled in the first half this year. The Commanders have scored just 6.0 first-half points per game, the 2nd lowest mark in the league. Their first-half defense ranks in the bottom half of the NFL as well.

I expect the Eagles to get a lead in the first half and sit on that one in the second half.

Sports Betting Advice and Tools

What is a Moneyline Bet?
The Moneyline is a wager option where sports bettors are betting on who will win the game, with the favored team seeing reduced odds and the underdog receiving increased odds. When it comes to football, the spread is generally the primary betting option for most sports bettors. It’s a little more straightforward in that your win amount is generally the same regardless of which side you pick. However, with the moneyline, you can see a favorite at -130 while the underdog is at +110. This discrepancy is where you can find hidden value as a sports bettor.
