NFL Week 4 Monday Night Football Best Bets

Rams ML (+100 at DraftKings)

Jimmy G did not look great in his first game starting this year. In case you missed it, he pulled a “Dan Orlovsky” and stepped out of the back of his endzone resulting in a safety. Jimmy G was a huge headline this off-season as we all waited for an immanent trade, but instead, he didn’t practice, sat idley by at practices and waited for the news; the rustiness showed. Meanwhile, the Rams haven’t looked impressive, but are still a cool 2-1 with one of the best qb-receiver duos in the NFL. The 49ers D is one of the best in the NFL, but I don’t think their offense will be able to keep pace in a high-intensity divisional game.

UNDER 42.5 (-107 at PointsBet)

San Francisco boasts one of the league’s top defenses, ranking 2nd in points allowed per drive and top 6 in both passing and rushing yards allowed per attempt. Meanwhile, their sputtering offense (28th in scoring) will be without All-Pro tackle Trent Williams, who is vitally important to the 49ers offensive scheme. Since Sean McVay was hired as the Rams’ head coach, games between these two teams are 6-3 to the under. Additionally, stand-alone games this season have combined to go 7-3 to the under.
