NBA Betting Odds, Picks & Predictions: Monday (3/13)

It was a winning end to the week on Friday, going 2-1 ATS as the Hawks and Lakers rolled to easy wins on the night. After a busy weekend mostly dominated by college hoops, our attention now turns back to the NBA as we dial in on three games I have my eye on as the season winds down.

YTD Record: 94-72-5 ATS

Indiana Pacers vs. Detroit Pistons

One of only three teams already officially eliminated from the NBA postseason, the Pistons have been awful this year as they are in the midst of their rebuild, winning just 15 of their 68 games thus far. Having now lost 11-straight, they welcome to town a Pacers team heading in the opposite direction.

Winners of six of their past 10 and two straight, the Pacers now sit just .5 games outside of the play-in tournament as they look to claw themselves into it. With a manageable week of games ahead, I expect the Pacers to get off to a good start with a resounding win tonight in Detroit.

Bet: Pacers +3.5 (-110)

Memphis Grizzlies vs. Dallas Mavericks

Once primed to make a deep run in the West, things are much more uncertain now for the Grizzlies, as their superstar guard Ja Morant is not available for an undetermined amount of time. Even still, they finished a two-game homestand 2-0 over the weekend, knocking off the Warriors and Mavericks over the span of three days.

Those Mavericks will get a second crack at the Grizz tonight, however, this time in Dallas, where they’ve been a much better team all season long. With Morant, Vince Williams Jr., Jake LaRavia, Steven Adams, and Brandon Clarke out for this one, I like for the Mavericks behind Kyrie Irving to get this one done tonight in a mini-revenge spot.

Bet: Mavericks +1.5 (-110)

Milwaukee Bucks vs. Sacramento Kings

No team in the league has been more impressive and surprising than the Sacramento Kings, who as the season plays out its final regular season weeks, find themselves in the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference. Five games back from the Nuggets, the Kings’ eight wins in their past 10 games has seen them surge up the standings.

As for the Bucks, they lead the way in the East as expected and come into this one winning eight of their past 10, too. I think the Bucks are the side that makes it nine of 11 tonight.

Bet: Bucks -2 (-110)
