Sunday’s Best NBA Same Game Parlays & Picks: Pacers vs. Thunder
(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)
Indiana Pacers vs. Oklahoma City Thunder
- Leg 1: Obi Toppin Under 10.5 Points (-108)
- Leg 2: Tyrese Haliburton Over 4.5 Rebounds (-158)
- Leg 3: Isaiah Hartenstein Under 1.5 Assists (-114)
Obi Toppin has earned at least 11 points in three straight games. He’s even seen an increase in minutes lately, receiving 25+ minutes in each of his last two games. However, he’s still added at least 11 points in just 45% of games this year. He’s also earned at least 11 points in just three of his last nine games against the Thunder. Toppin took an abnormal number of threes in Game 1 of the NBA Finals. He drilled five of eight from downtown but has averaged less than one three-pointer in the last ten games. Additionally, the Thunder rank 5th in the NBA in points allowed to power forwards this season. Toppin will cool down.
Meanwhile, Tyrese Haliburton came through with ten rebounds in Game 1 of the NBA Finals. He’s added at least five rebounds in six of his last ten games and has had multiple games with at least ten rebounds during the Pacers’ run in the playoffs. Haliburton is usually very good at earning rebounds when the chances present themselves. He grabbed all ten rebound chances in Game 1 and added six rebounds off eight rebound chances against the Knicks in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals. If there’s a chance, Haliburton will likely grab it.
Finally, Isaiah Hartenstein has recorded at least two assists in 83% of games this season. But once the playoffs came around, Hartenstein’s assist numbers started to dip. He’s added just two assists in his last four games combined. What’s even more shocking is that he’s earned no more than 19.1 minutes in each of the previous four games, including Game 1 of the NBA Finals. He’s not getting a ton of minutes and has only had two or fewer potential assists in six consecutive games. Additionally, the Pacers rank third in the NBA in assists allowed to centers this season.
