(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)
Indiana Pacers at Oklahoma City Thunder
- Leg 1: Obi Toppin Over 10.5 Points (+102)
- Leg 2: Alex Caruso Under 2.5 Assists (-130)
- Leg 3: Aaron Nesmith Over 1.5 Three-Pointers Made (-146)
Obi Toppin has been a brilliant spark for the Indiana Pacers over the last three games. He’s compiled at least 12 points in each of his last three games, including 20 points in a win-or-go-home Game 6 on Thursday. Toppin’s usage has been at 21% or higher over his last three games.
Toppin has also played at least 21 minutes in each of the last four games. In addition, he’s attempted 17 three-pointers in those last three games. Beyond that, he’s shot 50.4% over the last 10 games and has shot at least 50% in three of his last four games. Toppin is playing his best basketball right now.
On the other hand, Alex Caruso has added no more than two assists in three consecutive games. This is also a number he’s hit only 40% of the time this season. Meanwhile, the Pacers rank eighth in the NBA in assists allowed to shooting guards. They’re not giving up assists very easily to shooting guards. Caruso’s struggles in the assists category make sense, as he has hit this line in only six of his last 15 games against the Pacers.
Aaron Nesmith has drilled at least two threes in three consecutive games. He’s also hit at least two threes in all but one game against the Thunder in this series. Nesmith has earned more than 25 minutes per game over the last 10 games. He’s also attempted more than five threes per game in that 10-game stretch. Additionally, he’s hit 43.2% of his threes during the last 10 games.
The Thunder rank 26th in three-point attempts allowed to small forwards. So it’s likely Nesmith will continue to get volume from the three-point range. Since he’s been red-hot from deep, we’ll take him to add at least two threes to close out this parlay.
Parlay Odds: +462
