New York Knicks vs. Indiana Pacers
The Knicks have won the tip in 59% of games this season. The Pacers have only earned the tip in 34% of games. New York has also attempted the first shot in 54% of games and scored the first basket in 51%. Meanwhile, the Pacers have only taken the first shot in 41% of games and achieved the first basket in 39%.
In two previous games between these two teams, the Pacers won the tip in both games. Still, the Knicks have a higher probability of earning the tip and could still be the first ones to score even if they don’t win it.
The Knicks are without Julius Randle until at least the playoffs. Therefore, Jalen Brunson is the guy. He’s attempted 15 first shots and has scored eight first baskets for the Knicks. With Randle out, Brunson is the main contributor offensively right now.

Chicago Bulls vs. Milwaukee Bucks
The Chicago Bulls have earned jut 28% of tips this season. They’ve only won the tip in 22 of 79 games. Meanwhile, the Bucks have added 66% of tips won. The Bucks have also attempted the first shot in 66% of games. The Bulls have tried the first shot in only 39%.
Milwaukee has already won the tip in two of three games against the Bulls this season. However, the Bulls scored the first basket in two of those three games. Look for the Bucks to make things even tonight.
Currently, it looks like the entire Bucks’ starting lineup will play. That includes Giannis Antetokounmpo, who has 11 first-made baskets this season. However, Giannis has only attempted five first baskets for the Bucks.
I like the Bucks to win the tip and score first. Therefore, I’m rolling with Brook Lopez, who has added 12 first-baskets and 12 first-shot attempts this season.
