We’ve got a seven-game slate in the NBA today. Ultimately, we’re getting closer to the NBA Playoffs. But even with the regular season closing up, there’s still plenty of value in the first basket market for the NBA.
With seven games on the slate, I’ve added two first basket wagers you’ll want to consider tonight. Let’s get after it!

Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Los Angeles Clippers
The Oklahoma City Thunder are super hot in the first basket market. They’ve scored the first basket in seven of their last ten games entering tonight’s matchup against the Clippers. Los Angeles isn't far behind, scoring six first baskets in their last ten games.
Cason Wallace has scored three of the Thunder’s first baskets over the last ten games. Isaiah Hartenstein and Lu Dort have two each during that stretch.
Ultimately, the Clippers have allowed the first basket to shooting guards 26% of the time this season. Small forwards and centers have each scored first more than 20% of the time against the Clippers, too.
Lu Dort has eight first baskets for the Thunder this season. He’s scored the team’s first basket in 20% of games this season and has attempted the team’s first field goal in 20% of games this year. Let’s take a chance with Dort at +900 odds.
