Tuesday’s Best NBA Player Prop Bets

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Jalen Brunson Over 27.5 Points (-105)

Jalen Brunson has scored at least 31 points in back-to-back games heading into tonight’s showdown. He’s played about 35 minutes a night, and his usage was the highest it’s been since the last time out against Miami.

Dating back to last season, Brunson has averaged nearly three three-pointers per game over the last 10 games. He’s also averaged more than seven free throws per game over the last ten games. Meanwhile, he’s facing a Milwaukee squad ranked 29th in field goals made via point guards this season. The Bucks also rank 25th in points allowed to point guards this year.

Ultimately, Brunson has averaged 35 points per game in his last seven games against the Bucks. He’s hit this line in five of his previous seven games against Milwaukee and has earned at least 28 points in 60% of his last 20 games dating back to last year. Let’s back his over.

VJ Edgecombe Over 5.5 Assists (+126)

The Sixers found a good one.

Philadelphia rookie sensation VJ Edgecombe is a scoring machine. But he’s also tallied assists. He’s recorded at least seven assists in back-to-back games and has played at least 39 minutes in all three games. With Joel Embiid likely back for tonight’s game, Edgecombe might not need to do as much scoring. Instead, he’ll likely get involved more as a passer.

That’s not to say he won’t score 20+ points. But the potential assists will likely be higher. He’s already had at least five potential assists per game this season. Tonight, he’ll battle a Washington team ranked 27th in assists allowed to shooting guards this season.

Let’s ride with Edgecombe to add at least six assists tonight at plus-money value.

Bam Adebayo Over 9.5 Rebounds (-137)

Bam Adebayo secured 13 rebounds against the Knicks last time out. He’s now had two games with at least 12 rebounds to start the season. In the previous 10 games, dating back to last season, Adebayo has had nearly 17 rebound chances per game. He’s also hauled in about eight defensive rebounds per game during that stretch.

Additionally, Adebayo is set to face a Hornets team ranked 27th in rebounds allowed to centers this season. While the Hornets are bad at stopping centers on the defensive glass, they also rank 20th (below average) in offensive rebounds allowed to centers. Look for Adebayo to take advantage.
