Darius Garland Over 19.5 Points (-118)
Darius Garland has found a solid home with the Los Angeles Clippers. He’s scored at least 20 points in seven of his last ten games and has earned at least 30 points in two of his last five games.
Garland’s usage has increased to 30% over the last ten games. He’s also attempted nearly 16 shots per game and has shot 54.3% from the field. Garland has even drilled 53.5% from downtown and has taken 8.3 attempts per game over the last ten games. He’s had some injury history, which has hurt him, but Garland is still considered one of the best point guards in the game. Some just forgot about him a little bit.
Anyway, he’ll compete against a Portland squad that ranks 25th in the NBA in points allowed and 28th in the NBA in free throws made by point guards. Garland should have a lot of success tonight.
Kawhi Leonard Over 6.5 Rebounds (-132)
I usually attempt to play just one prop from a specific game. However, Kawhi Leonard’s rebound prop is calling my name.
Leonard has added eight rebounds in each of his last two games and will face a Blazers team that ranks 29th in total rebounds allowed against small forwards. Leonard has averaged 9.6 rebound chances per game over the last ten games. However, he’s earned at least ten rebound chances in three consecutive games entering this one.
In two games against the Blazers this year, Leonard has averaged nine rebounds per game. On paper, Leonard’s rebound prop looks great.
James Harden Over 8.5 Assists (-110)
Like Garland, James Harden has enjoyed his new home, too. Harden has earned at least nine assists in three of his last five games, including at least 14 assists in his last two games.
Harden has added at least 14 potential assists in all but two games over the last ten games. He’s also averaged 9.5 assists per game against the Lakers over the last ten games and has hit this prop in nine of them.
The Lakers rank 25th in the NBA in assists allowed to point guards, and Harden is in an absolute groove right now. Let’s take his Over in assists to close out our player prop selections for tonight.
