NBA Playoffs Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Monday (5/8)

The NBA Playoffs are extremely competitive right now.

The 76ers and Suns are locked in a 2-2 tie in their respective series.

Now it’s the Knicks’ and Warriors’ turns to even up their series. Wouldn’t it be something if all four series were tied at 2-2 going into Game 5?

I’m here for it. Here are a couple same-game parlays for tonight’s NBA action.

Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.

New York Knicks vs. Miami Heat

Jalen Brunson has led the Knicks in points during the playoffs. He’s averaging 25 points per game against the Heat through three games. However, he’s struggled from the three-point range in the series. He’s only shot 27.3% from downtown and has two games with a goose egg from three.

But he’s shot much better from the field in games where New York wins. In the lone win, Brunson shot 6-for-10 from three and 10-for-19 from the field. Expect that kind of performance tonight.

On the other hand, Gabe Vincent has averaged 3.3 assists per game against the Knicks, and he’s been even better in the playoffs. Vincent went 1-for-8 from the field in Game 3, but he managed to earn four assists anyway. He has four or more assists in each playoff game against the Knicks this season.

Finally, Kyle Lowry will still get north of 25 minutes per game with the Heat. He’s added four rebounds per game against the Knicks, and he’s hit this number in six of his last ten games and 58% of games overall. He’ll do some of the dirty work instead of taking a bunch of shots.

Golden State Warriors vs. Los Angeles Lakers

Vanderbilt has averaged 8.8 points per game against the Warriors this season. He only played 15 minutes in Game 3 and scored two points. But in his previous two games against the Warriors, Vanderbilt finished with eight and six points. He’s not going to take a ton of shots, but he’s still shooting nearly 55% from the field. Vanderbilt is efficient and will hit an occasional three.

Meanwhile, James has only averaged 22 points per game against the Warriors. He’s letting the game come to himself and not forcing it. He’s even playing off the ball plenty more. LeBron hasn’t scored more than 23 against the Warriors in the playoffs and that likely won’t change tonight.

And then there’s Austin Reaves. He’s hit at least four rebounds in four of his last five games. He didn’t have the best of performances in Game 3, playing 30 minutes with just 10 points, two assists, and two rebounds. Look for him to make a bigger impact on this game throughout the entire box score, including rebounds.
