Detroit Pistons at New York Knicks
- Leg 1: Karl-Anthony Towns Over 22.5 Points (-130)
- Leg 2: Tobias Harris Under 6.5 Rebounds (-144)
- Leg 3: Jalen Duren Under 10.5 Rebounds (-130)
Karl-Anthony Towns has scored at least 23 points in five of his last six games. He’s also added at least 23 points in back-to-back games against the Pistons, including Saturday’s Game 1. Ultimately, the Pistons rank 20th in points allowed to centers this season. They’ve allowed a high rate of threes from centers and continue to send centers to the foul line at one of the highest rates in the NBA. Meanwhile, Towns has shot 54.5% from the field over the last ten games and has averaged more than one three-pointer per game in that span.
Tobias Harris has hauled in no more than six rebounds in five consecutive games. He had six in Game 1 against the Knicks, which wouldn’t be enough. Ultimately, the Knicks rank 6th in the NBA in rebounds allowed to power forwards. On the other hand, Harris has added at least seven rebounds in just one of his last ten games. He’s also recorded a combined eight rebounds in his previous two games against the Knicks.
In addition, the Knicks rank first in the NBA in limiting centers on the glass. New York ranks first in defensive rebounding against centers and 10th in offensive rebounds against centers. Duren only added six rebounds in Detroit’s Game 1 loss to the Knicks, despite playing his typical 25 minutes a game. It’s hard to gain 11 rebounds in 25 minutes against the team that is the best at limiting centers on the glass.

Los Angeles Clippers at Denver Nuggets
- Leg 1: Ivica Zubac Over 17.5 Points (-114)
- Leg 2: Kawhi Leonard Under 6.5 Rebounds (-118)
- Leg 3: James Harden Over 2.5 Threes (-148)
Ivica Zubac finished Game 1 with 21 points in 39.4 minutes of game action. His usage reached 22.3%, which is already higher than his ten-game average of 19.6%. Zubac has shot 68.8% from the floor over the last ten games and hit 67% in Game 1. He’s also attempted nearly 13 shots per game in the previous ten games. Ultimately, Zubac has added at least 18 points in four of his last five games and has become an integral part of the Clippers’ offense.
Meanwhile, Kawhi Leonard has grabbed fewer than seven rebounds in five of his last seven games. He’s also nailed at least seven rebounds in only 18% of his previous 11 games against Denver. In those last 11 games, Leonard has averaged just 3.4 rebounds per game. That’s likely because the Nuggets have limited small forwards on the glass over the last few seasons. This year, the Clippers rank second in the NBA in rebounds allowed to small forwards.
Finally, James Harden has drilled at least three three-pointers in three of his last four games, including Game 1 against the Nuggets. Harden has averaged more than seven three-point attempts per game over the last ten games. Yet, he took nine against the Clippers in Game 1 and drilled four of them. This is sustainable, especially since the Nuggets rank 25th in three-pointers made to point guards and 27th in three-point field goal percentage to point guards.
