NBA Playoffs Same Game Parlay Picks & Predictions: Saturday (Celtics vs. Heat)

No team has ever won a series in the NBA Playoffs down 3-0. But after the Heat won the first three games, the Celtics responded with two wins to push the series to 3-2 in favor of Miami.

The Celtics will be favorites tonight, and if they can win tonight, Boston will be heavy favorites in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals. It could happen. The Celtics can make history.

The Celtics are just two games away from earning back-to-back NBA Finals appearances. A week ago, I didn’t think I’d be typing that.

Here are a couple of same-game parlays to consider for tonight’s Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat.

Boston Celtics vs. Miami Heat

Throughout the season, Robert Williams has averaged 11 points per game against the Heat. He only played 18 minutes in Game 5, but still went 3-for-3 from the field and scored six points. He might not earn more than 20 minutes tonight, depending on how Derrick White and Grant Williams perform. But he’s super efficient and will make the most of his minutes. Williams has added at least seven points in four of his last five games.

Hopefully, Jayson Tatum can add a couple of assists to Williams. Tatum has now earned at least seven assists in three of five games against the Heat. When needed, Tatum delivered, adding 21 points, 11 assists and eight rebounds in the Game 5 win. He’s locked in right now. But more importantly, the team is locked in and making shots. That’ll help Tatum.

On the other hand, I like Max Strus to step up tonight. He went 1-for-5 from the floor in Game 5 and was pretty much a liability. But he’s added at least 11 points in seven of ten games. He had a streak of 11 or more points in seven straight before the last three games he’s played. Look for him to get back to his old self.

Boston Celtics vs. Miami Heat

We won’t see Kevin Love get a whole lot of minutes. But the veteran is money on the glass when he’s in the game. Love brought down six rebounds in just 14 minutes of action in Game 5. In 12 minutes in Game 4, he added four rebounds. If Love gets just ten minutes, there’s a legitimate chance he still has four rebounds.

Hopefully, a rebound or two comes off a Jimmy Butler brick from downtown. Butler has only made one three in his last three games. He only attempted two threes in Game 5 and missed both of them. Butler has averaged .6 threes per game in this series. So at plus money, the Under 0.5 threes is a bargain.

Finally, Derrick White played a series-high 37 minutes in Game 5. He still only had three rebounds in the game. White has totaled four or more rebounds in just one game in this series, averaging 2.4 rebounds per game. He’s a shooter. He’ll let his teammates do the rest.
