    Indiana Pacers at Cleveland Guardians

Darius Garland only played two of the four games against the Miami Heat in the playoffs’ first round. While he’s listed as questionable tonight, he will likely play. Garland has added at least six assists in 69% of games this season. He’s also hit this line in eight of his last ten games. In addition, Garland has totaled at least six assists in nine of his last ten games against the Pacers. He’s earned 7.4 assists per game against the Pacers in the previous ten games against them. Right now, the Pacers rank 19th in assists allowed to point guards. That’s below average, so look for Garland to take advantage.

On the other hand, T.J. McConnell added at least three rebounds in four consecutive games against the Bucks in the first round. Yet, he’s facing a Cavaliers team that ranks first in the NBA in rebounds allowed to point guards. McConnell has only added at least three rebounds in 43% of games, but has averaged just 2.2 rebounds per game against the Cavaliers over his last 11 against them. Don’t expect more than four rebound chances against the Cavaliers tonight for McConnell.

However, Pascal Siakam should be good on the glass. He’s added at least seven rebounds in only two of his last five games. However, he’s also added at least seven rebounds in nine of 13 head-to-head matchups against the Cavaliers. Siakam will battle a Cavaliers team that ranks 28th in rebounds allowed to power forwards. He’s taken advantage of the Cavaliers in many matchups and should also do the same in this one. Siakam has earned at least ten rebound chances against the Pacers in every game but two since 2022.

Golden State Warriors at Houston Rockets

Before Game 6, Jimmy Butler totaled no more than five rebounds in his previous two games. While he’s averaged many rebound chances, he’s not converting at a high rate. After all, the Rockets rank 5th in the NBA in rebounds allowed to small forwards. They’ve done a good job of containing him in this series and have limited Butler to just 5.5 rebounds in his last 12 games against the Rockets, dating back to December 2021.

Stephen Curry has also struggled against the Rockets in the rebound category. While he added seven in Game 6, he only recorded three rebounds in the previous two games. In his last road game against the Rockets, he secured three rebounds on five rebound chances. In addition, he’s tallied at least six rebounds in only two of his last five games. The Rockets currently rank 7th in the NBA in rebounds allowed to point guards this season.

Finally, let’s roll with Dillon Brooks to add at least two threes. He’s nailed at least two three-pointers in eight of his last ten games. While he didn’t hit any three-pointers in Game 6, he still attempted three three-pointers in only 18.6 minutes of game action. Usually, Brooks gets closer to 30 minutes, but the Rockets went a different direction using the bench to get the win. Look for Brooks to get his typical minutes tonight. With that, he’ll drain some shots.
