NBA Power Rankings: Week 16 (2022)
Things are going smoothly in the NBA. We’re nearing the All-Star break and have had so many exciting games on the slate. Large market teams have struggled while smaller market teams are starting to takeover.
At the beginning of the season, all eyes were on the Nets, Bucks, Lakers, and Clippers. But instead, teams like the Memphis Grizzlies are fighting their way into the top-ranking spot for Week 16.

Where's The Value?
Los Angeles Lakers
I liked them last week and I still like them this week. You can potentially wait one more week for the Lakers with LeBron James injured, but you and I both know that the Lakers are going to catch fire at some point this season. You'll be wanting to hold a +1800 ticket on the Lakers during this stretch.
As long as the Lakers make the postseason, they're still a dangerous team with so many weapons. You can think about waiting one more week, but to get LeBron James and Anthony Davis at +1800 to win the Championship is a really solid value.
Memphis Grizzlies
I know the Grizzlies just lost in an embarrassing game to the 76ers, who were without Joel Embiid. That's going to sting. And that's what has me worried a bit. However, in the play-in game last year, Ja Morant and the Grizzlies were terrific. The Grizzlies in the post-season are dangerous.
I've got them in the two-spot this week and the Grizzlies are still +3000. There's plenty of value there.
Teams You Should Stay Away From
Brooklyn Nets
I told you to stay away from the Nets last week and they dropped from +260 to +300 within two weeks. Without Durant, the Nets are going to continue to drop. Don't bet the Nets yet. Wait until Durant is confirmed back, and then you can go and bet the Nets to win the Championship.
The number is going to sneak down until Durant is back!
Utah Jazz
The Jazz are an exciting team this year. But currently, they're on a five-game losing streak and lost Joe Ingles for the rest of the season. I'm not saying the Jazz won't get it together this year, because they will, but right now, let's see how the Jazz respond this week without Ingles.
Can they dominate this week and bounce back from an awful couple of weeks? I want to know the answer to this before I bet anything on the Jazz.
