NBA Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Monday (1/9)

We’ve got plenty of action to cover with six games on the NBA slate tonight. However, four of the six games have at least seven points spreads.

Therefore, I will break down the two games with smaller spreads, hoping for tighter contests. Here are a couple of same-game parlays to consider in the NBA.

NBA Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: January 9, 2023

New Orleans Pelicans vs. Washington Wizards

The Pelicans are currently playing without Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson. C.J. McCollum is now the lone star on the Pelicans. But he’s averaging just 20.4 points per game this season. He’s added at least 26 points in each of the first three games in January but dating back to December, McCollum had plenty of games scoring under 20 points.

The 25.5 number is getting too high for a player like McCollum. Plus, in those three games, McCollum has averaged three rebounds per game. But his line is sitting at 4.5, despite earning just two or fewer rebounds in three of his last four games.

On the other hand, Monte Morris of the Wizards has averaged 9.8 points per game this season. He’s shooting 45.5% from the field and hasn’t reached 10 shots in any game in January. In the month, he’s missed out on 11 points in all three games and has only hit 11 points in 37% of games this season.

Parlay Odds: +462

New York Knicks vs. Milwaukee Bucks

The Knicks got one of free agency’s bet gems over the offseason. Jalen Brunson has averaged 20.9 points per game with 6.6 assists and 3.4 rebounds.

However, he’s averaged under 21 points per game but has a line sitting at 23.5. Brunson has hit at least 24 points in his last three games but hasn’t been that consistent of a scorer this year. In December, Brunson averaged 18.2 points per game and has six games without even reaching 20 points. Milwaukee’s one of the best defenses in the NBA and will make it difficult on Brunson and the Knicks.

Quentin Grimes will also have a hard time scoring. He’s averaged 10.4 points per game but has averaged 14 points per game in January. He’s made three threes on seven attempts per game in the month but has only hit three threes in 31% of games this season. I like him to go under on that prop as well.

Finally, Jrue Holiday has only earned 19 minutes in his last two games. He’ll likely see more minutes against the Knicks, but he’s averaged just nine points over the last two games. Holiday has hit 18 or more points in 46% of games this season and has only reached 18 points in 40% of his last 20 games. Take his under.
