NBA Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Saturday (10/28)
There are seven games on the NBA slate tonight. Two of those seven games can be found on NBA TV. They’re holding a double-header on the network, with the Knicks-Pelicans and Jazz-Suns matchups as the featured games.
Although I’m not comfortable betting on the Suns, knowing Devin Booker and Bradley Beal are likely out, I still have a same-game parlay for the Knicks-Pelicans matchup, along with one other game.
Tail along below!
Saturday’s Best NBA Same Game Parlay Bets
(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)
New York Knicks vs. New Orleans Pelicans
- Leg 1: C.J. McCollum Over 18.5 Points (-125)
- Leg 2: Brandon Ingram Over 5.5 Assists (-125)
- Leg 3: Jalen Brunson Over 2.5 Rebounds (-160)
The Knicks will play the second game of a back-to-back on the road against the New Orleans Pelicans. The Knicks are 1-1, while the Pelicans will only play their second game of the season with a 1-0 record.
C.J. McCollum earned 24 points in New Orleans’ first game. He played in 37 minutes against the Grizzlies and took 16 shots. Eleven of those were three-point attempts, where he nailed six-for-11 from deep. McCollum hit at least 19 points in 63% of games last season, and he’s already off to a hot start for the Pelicans this season.
Meanwhile, Brandon Ingram added six assists in his first game of the year. He also played 36 minutes and only shot 38.9% from the field. He’s not an efficient scorer, but he has plenty of efficient scorers around him. Ingram has become a great passer over time and has hit at least six assists in nine straight games since last year.
Finally, Jalen Brunson has averaged three rebounds per game this year. He’s hit three in each of his first two games. But dating back to last year, Brunson has hit at least three rebounds in 12 straight games. Brunson typically gets about 33 minutes and needs one rebound every 11 minutes.
Parlay Odds: +426
Philadelphia 76ers vs. Toronto Raptors
- Leg 1: Joel Embiid Over 28.5 Points (-122)
- Leg 2: Tobias Harris Under 2.5 Assists (-104)
- Leg 3: Pascal Siakam Under 1.5 Threes (-180)
Let’s start with Joel Embiid. He was third in scoring for the 76ers on Thursday. But do we really think he won’t lead the 76ers in scoring this year? He still took 21 shots and hit 42.9% from the field while knocking down about 43% from downtown against Milwaukee. Embiid hit at least 29 points in 65% of games last year, and now James Harden isn’t even on the roster.
Meanwhile, Tobias Harris hit just three assists in only 42% of games last season. He also started this year with just two assists in 37 minutes. Even dating back to last season, Harris has hit three or more assists in just 35% of games. I have little confidence in his ability to earn assists.
Finally, Pascal Siakam was never known for hitting the three-ball. He shot 3-for-5 in the opening game but only nailed 1-for-5 from three in 41 minutes against the Bulls last time out. Siakam has only hit two or more threes in 25% of his previous 20 games. He also only hit two or more threes in 35% of games last season. We’ll ride his Under here.
Parlay Odds: +445
