NBA Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Saturday (1/14)

A little over half of the league is playing today in the NBA. Below are some intriguing matchups that should give us exciting action throughout the night.

NBA Same Game Parlay Picks: January 14, 2023

I’ve added multiple same-game parlays to consider for tonight’s slate. Let us know if you’re tailing!

Atlanta Hawks vs. Toronto Raptors

  • Leg 1: Gary Trent Jr. Over 19.5 Points (-115)
  • Leg 2: Scottie Barnes Under 4.5 Assists (-113)
  • Leg 3: Scottie Barnes Under 7.5 Rebounds (-136)

Trent is only averaging 18.5 points per game this season. However, he’s hit 20 or more points in seven of his last ten games. In two of the other three, Trent scored 19 points. So, he’s added 19 points in nine of his last ten games. Against a below-average Hawks defense, I like Trent to get over his points total here.

On the other hand, Barnes has done many little things. He’s just not going to do enough of them to get over on his props. He’s added 6.9 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game this season. He’s only reached five assists in 30% of games over his last 20.

Barnes also added eight or more rebounds in just 36% of games this year. He’s coming off a game with nine assists and seven rebounds. Still, he’s averaging much lower numbers in those stat categories. The line is just a bit higher because Atlanta allows a ton of rebounds and a solid amount of assists.

Parlay Odds: +445

Memphis Grizzlies vs. Indiana Pacers

  • Leg 1: Ja Morant Over 7.5 Assists (-120)
  • Leg 2: Buddy Hield Over 19.5 Points (-108)
  • Leg 3: Andrew Nembhard Under 4.5 Rebounds (-136)

Morant does a lot of scoring for the Grizzlies. He’s also averaging nearly eight assists per night this season. Morant has hit eight assists in 60 percent of his last 20 games and reached eight assists in six of his last ten games. However, he had just four assists in his last game, Morant’s line is a bit lower with the juice. I’ll grab that to start the parlay.

Meanwhile, Hield is second in scoring for the Pacers this year. He has only scored 20 points in 40 percent of games this year, but he’s starting to get on a streak. Hield has nailed 20 or more points in three of his last five games and five of his last ten. This matchup against Memphis should also help his case to score 20 points.

Lastly, Nembhard is only averaging 3.1 rebounds per game, but his line is sitting at 4.5. He has hit five rebounds in just 18 percent of his games this season. Nembhard has only grabbed five rebounds in two of his last ten games. I’m not confident in his ability to earn rebounds consistently. Take the under.
