NBA Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Sunday (3/5)

There are four nationally televised games in the NBA tonight. Those four games will be the most watched games on the NBA slate.

The Suns will take on the Mavericks in an early matchup. Make sure to tune into ABC at 1:00 pm ET to watch Kyrie Irving go up against Kevin Durant on their new West Coast teams. Meanwhile, the Warriors and Lakers will play the following game on ABC.

But the two games I’ll be paying attention to the most will be the Knicks vs. Celtics and Grizzlies vs. Clippers.

The Knicks are holding on to the league’s longest winning streak but are 5.5-point underdogs against the Celtics. Meanwhile, the Grizzlies will be without Ja Morant for a couple of games.

The headlines in the NBA are going crazy. Here are a couple of same-game parlays to consider for tonight’s ESPN games.

New York Knicks vs. Boston Celtics

The Knicks are now only two games away from 40 wins. They’re looking like genuine contenders since adding Josh Hart. They also turned things around when Mitchell Robinson returned to the lineup.

Robinson has averaged 7.5 points per game this season. He’s shot over 70% from the field and has scored at least ten points in all but one game since returning. The Miami Heat played him well through his 33 minutes last game. But he’s been averaging about five or six shot attempts per game if you take away that Miami game. That’ll be enough to get to seven points.

Meanwhile, RJ Barrett has added four rebounds in 72% of games this season. He’s not even getting 30 minutes a game, but a 3.5 line is too low for Barrett, who will still play around 30 minutes. The Celtics are usually a great defense, but they’re only average on the glass.

That’s also why I’ll be adding Julius Randle Over 8.5 rebounds. Randle has hit this line in nearly 70% of games this season and has reached nine rebounds in 75% of his last 20 games. Scoring has been on his mind a little more, but he’s ultimately done everything for the Knicks this year. Randle is averaging over ten rebounds per game. Let’s take this line.

Memphis Grizzlies vs. Los Angeles Clippers

The Russell Westbrook slander has continued. Westbrook’s teams haven’t won a game in weeks. But I’m not worried about that. I’m worried about his assists. He added ten of them in his last game and has earned double-digit assists in three of five games with the Clippers.

Hopefully, those assists go to Kawhi Leonard. Leonard has nailed at least three threes in three of his last four games and has attempted at least four threes in five of six games. He shot over 53% from deep in February and has been consistent throughout the season from three.

Meanwhile, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Desmond Bane must step up for Morant, Dillon Brooks, Steven Adams, and Brandon Clarke, who will all be unavailable for this game.

Bane has earned 5.1 rebounds per game this season. He’s had five or more rebounds in four of his last five and eight of his last ten games. The Clippers shoot a lot and brick a lot. Bane should be able to get his rebounds and fill up his box score throughout the night against this poor Clippers team.
