NBA Same Game Parlay Picks & Predictions: Sunday (12/22)

The NBA does not have any games on national television tonight and there are no late games. However, I’ve added a couple of same-game parlays (SGPs) for matchups starting at 6:00 p.m. ET.

Toronto Raptors vs. Houston Rockets

Jonathan Mogbo has recorded at least eight points in just 21% of his games this season. However, since he’s coming off eight points against the Nets, his line is at 7.5 points tonight. Mogbo will take on a Houston defense ranked 11th in the NBA in points allowed to power forwards. Houston is also good at limiting second chances against power forwards. It’s super unlikely Mogbo will take more than 10 shots in tonight’s game.

On the other hand, RJ Barrett has scored at least 30 points in two of his last three games. It’s just much more unlikely he does that in tonight’s game against the Rockets. Houston ranks third in the NBA in points allowed to shooting guards this season. Opposing shooting guards have scored fewer than three threes per game and have shot below 30% from downtown this year. Barrett should also struggle to get to the foul line, knowing Houston ranks eighth in defensive free throws made against shooting guards.

Finally, consider Jalen Green to go under 5.5 rebounds. Green nailed six rebounds against the Pelicans last time out. But before that game, he had a four-game stretch with four or fewer rebounds per game. Toronto ranks first in the NBA in limiting shooting guards from adding rebounds. Shooting guards have earned just 4.85 rebounds per game against Toronto.

Parlay Odds: +462

Indiana Pacers vs. Sacramento Kings

I’m targeting Pascal Siakam in tonight’s Pacers-Kings game. Siakam has earned at least 22 points in three straight games. I don’t see why he’ll stop there. After all, the Kings rank 28th in the NBA in points allowed to power forwards this season. Power forwards have shot 49.56% from the field against the Kings, which ranks 27th defensively in the NBA.

That said, Siakam likely won’t dominate the glass as much. The Kings have allowed just 8.94 rebounds per game to power forwards this season. That ranks second in the NBA. Despite Siakam totaling 18 rebounds against the Suns, he’s earned eight or more rebounds in only four of his last 10 games.

Let’s also roll with De’Aaron Fox to score under 26.5 points. Fox has added at least 27 points in only two of his last 10 games. While, yes, he’s scored at least 29 points in two of his previous three, Fox has a difficult matchup against the Pacers, who have allowed just 23.81 points per game to point guards this season.

Parlay Odds: +640
