Los Angeles Clippers vs. Toronto Raptors

Jakob Poeltl has earned at least three assists in five consecutive games. He’s also hit this line in 51% of games this season and has averaged nearly three assists per game. Ultimately, he’s coming off a game in which he had 14 potential assists against the Bulls. He’s also had six potential assists in four straight games. That’s great stuff, especially since he’s facing a Clippers defense ranked 20th in assists allowed to centers this season.

Meanwhile, Scottie Barnes has earned fewer than six assists in two straight games. He’s had 10 or fewer potential assists in two straight games, which is already below his last 10-game average. That’s not good. But also, the Clippers have allowed just 3.14 assists per game to small forwards this season, ranking first in that category. I’m not so high on Barnes’ assists numbers today.

Lastly, the Raptors rank first in rebounds allowed to shooting guards this season. James Harden has nailed at least six rebounds in just three of his last 10 games. He’s also averaged just 5.3 rebounds per game over the previous 10. Going up against the Raptors will challenge Harden on the glass. Fade him to close out this same-game parlay.

Memphis Grizzlies vs. Milwaukee Bucks

Khris Middleton closed out 2024 with two performances of 21+ points. He’s added at least 13 points in 55% of games this season and will now face a Memphis defense ranked 27th in points allowed to shooting guards per game. Middleton has shot over 50% from the field over the previous 10 games and has attempted nearly eight shots per game.

While Middleton has found success, so has Giannis Antetokounmpo. He has scored at least 35 points in four straight games and has averaged 32.2 points per game over the last 10 games. Antetokounmpo has nailed this line in 53% of games this season. He’ll take on a Memphis defense ranked 16th in points allowed to power forwards. As long as Antetokounmpo puts up his typical averages, he’ll cover this player prop and hit the over.

Finally, Jaren Jackson Jr. has added at least three assists in only 30% of games this season. He’s also averaged just 1.8 assists per game in his last six head-to-head matchups against the Bucks. In the previous 10 games, Jackson has earned an average of 3.7 potential assists per game. If that stayed true, he’d have to land an assist on each bucket.

Plus, the Bucks rank fifth in assists allowed to centers. He won’t have many opportunities.
