San Antonio Spurs vs. New Orleans Pelicans

Zion Williamson is a force. He’s a little bit forgotten due to his injury history. But he can flat-out play. Williamson has scored at least 28 points in four of his last five games. He’s also scored at least 25 points in seven of his last 10 games. Tonight, he’ll get a chance to battle a Spurs defense ranked 23rd in the NBA in points allowed to power forwards. It also helps that Victor Wembanyama is unavailable. The defense for the Spurs will likely only be worse against forwards and centers.

Meanwhile, Trey Murphy has scored no more than 20 points in four of his last five games. He’s also nailed this line in one of his last five games and has missed out on at least 23 points in 11 out of 12 head-to-head matchups against the Spurs. In addition, the Spurs rank fifth in the NBA in points allowed to small forwards, holding small forwards to 27.91% from deep and below 40% from the field this season. You’re asking for a lot from Murphy with a 23-point line.

Finally, De’Aaron Fox has added at least five rebounds in two straight games. He’s hit at least five rebounds in 62% of games this season and is getting some opportunity on the glass as a member of the Spurs. Fox has had 22 rebound chances combined in his last two games. He’s also had at least six rebound chances in every game with the Spurs. With the Pelicans allowing 6.36 rebounds per game to point guards, look for Fox to capitalize.

Parlay Odds: +443

Memphis Grizzlies vs. Cleveland Cavaliers

Ja Morant scored 23 points in his last game against the Orlando Magic. He’s now scored at least 25 points in four of his previous six games. Against Orlando, Morant made 10 of his 24 shots. It was the most volume from Morant in quite some time. Meanwhile, I’d like to think that’ll continue against the Cavaliers. Cleveland has allowed 25.25 points per game to point guards this year. That ranks 26th in the NBA. The Cavaliers are elite but have still allowed point guards to attempt more than 20 shots per game this season. That favors Morant.

On the other hand, Cleveland’s sniper Max Strus has scored at least 10 points in only 37% of games this year. However, he’s still added at least 10 points in three of his last five games. Strus will battle a Memphis defense ranked 25th in the NBA in points allowed to shooting guards. After all, the Grizzlies have watched shooting guards drill 33.47% from downtown, which ranks 28th in the NBA. Strus is in line to bang a few threes down.

Lastly, let’s roll with Evan Mobley to haul in at least 10 rebounds. He’s added at least 10 rebounds in six of his last 10 games and has averaged 11.6 rebounds per game in his five matchups against Memphis. Mobley has had two games with at least 21 rebound chances over his last three. He’s also averaged nearly 16 rebound chances in his last 10 games. That average should stay high against a Memphis defense ranked 20th in rebounds allowed to power forwards.

Parlay Odds: +412
