NBA Same Game Parlay Picks & Predictions: Thursday (1/16)
There might be only five games on tonight’s NBA slate, but there are some quality games with value all over the place.

Phoenix Suns vs. Washington Wizards
- Leg 1: Bilal Coulibaly Under 12.5 Points (-128)
- Leg 2: Tyus Jones Over 5.5 Assists (-113)
- Leg 3: Kyle Kuzma Under 5.5 Rebounds (+102)
Bilal Coulibaly finished with 15 points against Minnesota a few days ago. However, he’s only scored 13+ points in one of his last 10 games, averaging fewer than 10 points per contest. In addition, his 15 points against the Timberwolves was the first time he scored at least 13 points since December.
His usage dropped to 15.9% against Minnesota, but he played nearly 35 minutes. The minutes might stay up, but the usage is still concerning. He only attempted 10 shots last game - he just made six - and shot 60% from the floor. Don’t expect that to continue against a Suns defense ranked third in the NBA in points allowed to small forwards.
On the other hand, Tyus Jones has recorded at least six assists in two of his last three games with the Suns and has recorded at least 11 potential assists in both. He’s also set to face a Washington defense ranked 23rd in assists allowed to point guards this year.
Finally, Kyle Kuzma has grabbed fewer than six rebounds in four straight games. He had 12 rebound chances against Minnesota but hauled in only five last time out. Now, he’ll take on a Suns team ranked seventh in the NBA in rebounds allowed to power forwards. It won’t get easier for Kuzma tonight.

Los Angeles Clippers vs. Portland Trail Blazers
- Leg 1: Scoot Henderson Under 5.5 Assists (+104)
- Leg 2: Norman Powell Over 3.5 Three-Pointers Made (+102)
- Leg 3: James Harden Over 2.5 Three-Pointers Made (-154)
Although Scoot Henderson recorded six assists against the Nets last time out, he failed to nail this line in five games prior. He’s only averaged 8.3 potential assists per game in the previous 10 and will now face a Clippers team ranked 10th in assists allowed to point guards.
On the other hand, Norman Powell and James Harden should get solid looks from downtown tonight. After all, the Blazers rank 27th in three-pointers allowed to shooting guards and rank 26th in points allowed to shooting guards. The volume should be there for both.
Powell has hit at least four threes in 56% of games this season. Last night, he nailed three threes on four three-point attempts against the Nets despite playing only 22.1 minutes. He’s locked in.
Meanwhile, Harden also drilled three-of-five from downtown after playing only 23 minutes against the Nets last night. He’s shot above .500 from downtown in two consecutive games and will have the chance to continue that streak tonight.
