(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)
New York Knicks vs. Detroit Pistons
- Leg 1: Cade Cunningham Over 26.5 Points (-110)
- Leg 2: Jalen Brunson Under 7.5 Assists (-152)
- Leg 3: Precious Achiuwa Under 7.5 Rebounds (+112)
Cade Cunningham has scored at least 35 points in two of his last three games. Tonight, he’ll take on a Knicks team that is 28th in points allowed per game to point guards. Meanwhile, Josh Hart and OG Anunoby aren’t even playing, which should hurt the overall defense of the Knicks tonight. Cunningham should be able to take advantage.
Jalen Brunson will play tonight after missing so much time in the second half of the season. But how long remains the question. Ultimately, he’s facing a Detroit defense that ranks No. 1 in the NBA in assists allowed to point guards. If Brunson plays the full game, he still might not be able to get to at least eight assists. After all, he’s hit this line in only 43% of games this season.
Finally, Precious Achiwua figures to get many more minutes tonight. Still, he’s taking on a Detroit defense that ranks 10th in the NBA in rebounds allowed to centers. Nothing will come easy. Achiuwa played 25.3 minutes in his last game against the Hawks and managed just three rebounds on ten rebound chances. I’m not counting him Achiuwa to land eight or more rebounds against the Pistons.

Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Memphis Grizzlies
- Leg 1: Mike Conley Over 7.5 Points (-112)
- Leg 2: Zach Edey Under 10.5 Points (-112)
- Leg 3: Rudy Gobert Over 12.5 Points (-114)
Mike Conley has already added at least eight points in 59% of games this season. He’s also added at least eight points in six of his last ten games and has scored at least eight points in eight of his last 12 games against the Grizzlies. That said, he’s taking on a Memphis defense that ranks 21st in the NBA in points allowed to point guards. In addition, the Grizzlies rank 23rd in three-pointers made to point guards. Conley has added two per game over the last ten games. He’s also shot 51.5% from downtown.
Rudy Gobert also has a solid matchup tonight. He’ll face a Grizzlies defense that ranks 21st in the NBA in points allowed to centers. Meanwhile, Gobert has scored at least 13 points in seven of his last eight games, including four games with at least 19 points. He only added six against the Bucks, but his usage was super low. Expect his usage to increase back to normal rates tonight.
On the other hand, Zach Edey has added at least 11 points in just 34% of games this season. He’s also averaged just five points in two games against the Timberwolves this season. He’s failed to hit this line in both of those games. Additionally, Minnesota ranks 6th in the NBA in points allowed to centers this season. They’ve also limited centers to the second-lowest field goal rate in the NBA.
