Orlando Magic vs. Cleveland Cavaliers

Desmond Bane has scored at least 20 points in back-to-back games entering this contest. He’s had a usage rate of 22.5% over the last 10 games, and he’s averaged nearly 35 minutes per game during that stretch. In addition, he’s attempted 14 field goals per game, and he’s shot nearly 49% from the floor. Tonight, he’ll battle a Cavaliers team ranked 28th in three-point rate and 25th in points allowed to shooting guards. Bane should take advantage.

On the other hand, Anthony Black has hauled in at least five rebounds in just 32% of games this season. He’s added at least five rebounds in just one of his last 10 games against the Cavaliers, averaging only 2.1 rebounds per game. Ultimately, the Cavaliers rank fifth in defensive rebounds allowed to point guards. Black is averaging fewer than five rebound chances per game over the last 10 games and would need five even to hit this line.

Paolo Banchero has earned at least five assists in seven of his last 10 games. He’s averaged only 6.5 potential assists per game, but he’s had at least 10 potential assists in four of his previous 10 games. Right now, Cleveland ranks 28th in assists allowed to power forwards. Look for that potential assists number to creep up near double-digits again tonight.

Golden State Warriors vs. Minnesota Timberwolves

Jaden McDaniels scored just three points in 27 minutes against the Warriors last night. But he added at least 15 points in five games prior. The Warriors rank 24th in field goals made by power forwards this season. Look for McDaniels to get more involved in the offense this go-around. He’s still shot nearly 52% from the field over the last 10 games.

Naz Reid struggled in the assists column against the Warriors last night. However, the Warriors rank 29th in assists allowed to centers. Reid has gained at least four assists in three of his previous games. He’s also had at least six potential assists in three of his last five games. The Warriors stopped him last night, but it’ll be hard for them to do it twice in a row.

Let’s rock with Rudy Gobert to earn at least 12 rebounds. Gobert has missed this line in three straight games, but he’s still nailed at least 12 rebounds in 57% of games this season. He’s added at least 21 rebound chances in four of his last six games. Gobert will start to see the rebounds, especially against a Warriors team ranked dead last in defensive rebounds allowed to centers this season.
