Denver Nuggets vs. Oklahoma City Thunder

Bruce Brown has scored eight or more points in just one of his last six games. His usage has been below 13% in all of those games, and he’s made only one free throw in his last five games combined. Meanwhile, he’ll take on a Thunder team ranked first in the NBA in points allowed to point guards. The Thunder also ranks first in the NBA in field goal rate allowed to point guards. It won’t be easy for Brown with very few attempts.

The same could be said about Jamal Murray. He’ll have more volume, but he’ll also have to face a Thunder team ranked first in the NBA in points and field goal rate against point guards. Murray scored just 12 points in 18 minutes against the Knicks last time out. He’s also shot just 46% from the field and 36.5% from deep over the last 10 games. Ultimately, you’d have to figure his numbers will shrink against the Thunder.

Let’s roll with Christian Braun to add at least five rebounds. He’s hit this line in seven of his last eight games and has nailed this line in eight of his last 10 games. In addition, Braun has averaged six rebounds per game against the Thunder over his last 16 games against them. Oklahoma City ranks dead last in defensive rebounds allowed to shooting guards this season.

New York Knicks vs. Los Angeles Clippers

OG Anunoby has added at least 16 points in 56% of games this season. However, he’s only hit this line in four of his last 10 games. Ultimately, he’s taken about 12 shots per game over the last 10 games and has shot 48.4% from the field. That’s not bad. However, he’s facing a Clippers team ranked second in the NBA in points allowed to power forwards this season.

On the other hand, Josh Hart has contributed fewer than seven rebounds in three of his last four games. He’s nailed this line in only 41% of games this season and has earned at least eight rebounds in just 30% of his last 20 games. Hart will battle a Clippers squad ranked first in the NBA in total rebounds and defensive rebounds allowed to shooting guards this season.

Let’s roll with Kawhi Leonard to pull down at least seven rebounds. Leonard has added at least seven rebounds in six of his last 10 games and is set to face a Knicks team ranked 23rd in defensive rebounds and 22nd in total rebounds allowed to small forwards this season. Leonard has had almost 10 rebound chances per game over the last 10 games. That number could increase a little tonight.
