Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Minnesota Timberwolves
- Leg 1: Isaiah Hartenstein Under 7.5 Rebounds (-122)
- Leg 2: Rudy Gobert Over 8.5 Rebounds (-130)
- Leg 3: Jaden McDaniels Under 6.5 Rebounds (-138)
Isaiah Hartenstein finally added at least eight rebounds in a game on Thursday. He had four consecutive games without adding at least eight rebounds until Game 2 of this series.
While Hartenstein has been huge for the Thunder, he’s only played about 25 minutes a game in this series. His usage also dipped to 10.1%, and he’s earned fewer than six rebounds per game over the last 10 games. Meanwhile, the Timberwolves rank third in the NBA in defensive rebounds allowed to centers. Plus, Hartenstein has tallied fewer than three offensive rebounds per game over the last 10 games. He’s added just three offensive rebounds in this series so far.
If Hartenstein isn’t getting his fair share of rebounds, you’d like to think Rudy Gobert is the reason why. Gobert totaled nine rebounds against the Thunder in Game 2 after seeing 17 rebound chances in that game. In the series, he’s added 29 rebound chances in two games and is facing a Thunder team that ranks 21st in the NBA in rebounds allowed to centers. Gobert should be active on the glass, especially at home.
Jaden McDaniels has earned just eight rebounds in nearly 60 minutes of game action in this series. He’s had just 15 rebound chances in those two games and is taking on a Thunder team ranked 17th in defensive rebounding. McDaniels has averaged fewer than 10 rebound chances over the last 10 games and didn’t record a single defensive rebound in 34.6 minutes in Game 2. Let’s finish out this parlay by fading McDaniels in the rebound category.
