NBA Same Game Parlays & Picks: Sunday (1/18)
Today’s NBA slate features six games, including a contest in London between the Orlando Magic and Memphis Grizzlies. That game starts at noon ET, so I won’t make a play on it. But you’ll undoubtedly want to tune in to that one. Anyway, here are two NBA same-game parlays (SGPs) for other matchups tonight.

Portland Trail Blazers vs. Sacramento Kings
- Leg 1: Domantas Sabonis Over 13.5 Points (-102)
- Leg 2: Zach LaVine Under 20.5 Points (-114)
- Leg 3: DeMar DeRozan Over 3.5 Rebounds (-104)
Domantas Sabonis has scored at least 14 points in six of his last 10 games. He’s had a usage rate of nearly 25% in those matchups and has attempted over 13 shots per game during that stretch. Tonight, he’ll battle a Portland team ranked 27th in field-goal attempts by centers. The Blazers also rank 24th in points allowed to centers this season. Sabonis should see plenty of opportunities against a short-handed Blazers squad.
However, Zach LaVine won’t have it as easy. LaVine has scored at least 21 points in just two of his last 10 games. He’s shot below 50% in the previous 10 games and will now battle a Blazers team ranked third in three-point field goal rate and sixth in field goal rate. LaVine likely won’t be on his A game tonight.
DeMar DeRozan has secured at least four rebounds in 60% of his last 20 games. He’s struggled recently but should get back on track against a Trail Blazers team ranked dead last in total rebounds allowed to small forwards this season. DeRozan has added 7.3 rebound chances per game in the previous 10 games. Look for that number to creep up tonight.

Toronto Raptors vs. Los Angeles Lakers
- Leg 1: Jake LaRavia Under 14.5 Points (-114)
- Leg 2: Marcus Smart Under 3.5 Assists (-174)
- Leg 3: Sandro Mamukelashvili Under 4.5 Rebounds (+114)
Jake LaRavia played 28 minutes against Portland and scored two points last time out. He’s scored just two points in two of his previous four games, despite averaging more than 30 minutes a game during that time. LaRavia will battle a Raptors team ranked third in free throws made and fifth in field-goal attempts. LaRavia barely gets to the foul line, and he’s shot below 44% from the field over the last 10 games.
On the flip side, Marcus Smart has averaged just five potential assists per game this season. His usage was much higher against Portland. Because of that, he didn’t have a single assist. He scored 25 points and took 17 shots instead. With Luka Doncic out, look for Smart to be the aggressor on offense again.
Sandro Mamukelashvili hasn’t recorded more than two rebounds in three consecutive games. Ultimately, his rebound chances have died down over the last couple of games. He’s earned just six rebound chances in each of the previous two games, despite earning 9.2 rebound chances per game over the previous 10 games before that. Meanwhile, he’s playing a Lakers squad ranked fourth in the NBA in defensive rebounds allowed to power forwards. It won’t get any easier for Mamukelashvili tonight.
