New York Knicks vs. Charlotte Hornets

Karl-Anthony Towns has grabbed at least 12 rebounds in eight of his last 10 games. But tonight’s matchup against the Hornets won’t be easy. The Hornets rank first in the NBA in total rebounds allowed to centers, and they’re first in defensive and offensive rebounds against centers this year. In addition, Towns has hit the under on 12 rebounds in five of his last eight games against the Hornets. Charlotte typically keeps him in check.

Meanwhile, Jalen Brunson has grabbed one or more rebounds in three of his last four games. In his last two games, he’s grabbed just one total rebound. Charlotte, again, is terrific on the glass, holding point guards to the second-fewest amount of rebounds this season. Brunson has had just four rebound chances in his last two games. He’s had no more than five rebound chances in three of his last four games. We’ll take his under.

Kon Knueppel has dished out at least four assists in just four of his last 10 games. He’s only averaged 5.4 potential assists per game over the last 10 games and will face a Knicks team that ranks third in the NBA in assists allowed to small forwards.

Sacramento Kings vs. Orlando Magic

The Kings have some really good youth on the roster. Devin Carter is starting to develop into a franchise player. He’s scored at least 16 points in three consecutive games and just played 34 minutes against the Hornets last time out. Carter has shot 33.9% over the last 10 games. It can’t really get any worse than that, especially when facing the Magic, who rank 29th in points allowed to point guards this season.

On the other hand, Dylan Cardwell has earned at least seven points in just 31% of games this season. He’s missed this line in two consecutive games and has averaged fewer than six shots per game over the last 10 games - the Magic rank second in the NBA in points allowed to centers this season. You can thank Wendell Carter Jr., who has been dominant defensively and on the glass.

Carter has earned at least eight rebounds in only one of his last 10 games. But he’s hit this line in 55% of his last 20 games. Beyond that, he’s facing a Kings team ranked dead last in defensive rebounds and 29th in total rebounds allowed to centers this season. Carter should dominate on the glass tonight.
