NFL Pro Bowl: Best Parlay (2022)

The 2022 edition of the NFL Pro Bowl is now just hours away as the skills competition took us through the end of the week and only the big game remains. Hosted at the sparking new Allegiant Stadium in sunny Las Vegas, NV, some of the best players in the league (obviously) will be on hand for the game.

Let’s take a look at how we can cash in.

Leg #1: AFC Moneyline | -115  at DK Sportsbook

Much has been made this week about the advantage the AFC will have this week in the quarterback department, but that’s not all. They’ll also be trotting out the two best running backs in the game in Jonathan Taylor and Nick Chubb, and two of the most electric offensive weapons in Tyreek Hill and Stefon Diggs.

Not only will the NFC be without their two best quarterbacks in Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady (by a wide margin), but their best wide receiver in Cooper Kupp. While I do think they can claw some of that talent back defensively, I expect the AFC’s offense to be too much.

Leg #2: Under 62.5 | -110 at DK Sportsbook

Despite this no doubt being an offensive-focused game each year, the defense has been surprisingly competent over the years. With Nick Bosa and Micah Parsons leading the way for a stout front seven in the NFC, I think we see a renewed emphasis on defense this year between the teams.

Also, the narrative of this being an offense-only affair I think has been a bit overblown. In the last five editions of this game, only two have gone over 60 points, including last year’s (recency bias?).

I like TJ Watt and Miles Garrett to have something to say about it as well for the AFC.
