NFL Week 1 Same Game Parlays: Vikings vs. Bears
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Minnesota Vikings @ Chicago Bears
- Leg 1: Bears 24+ Team Points (-190)
- Leg 2: Carson Wentz Under 215.5 Passing Yards (-111)
- Leg 3: T.J. Hockensen 3+ Receptions (-292)
The Bears came out swinging in their first contest. The offense was masterful, scoring just under 60 points. That seems like a quite a steep cliff to completely fall from, so we are going to back Chicago to score at least 24 points against Minnesota. The Bears unloaded for over 500 yards of offense in Week 1. The 59 points will be tough to repeat, but 24 points or more sounds much more reasonable.
Carson Wentz threw for 133 yards on 19 attempts against the Packers. The threshold for this prop is almost 90 yards over the first week for Wentz. The volume for Wentz severely hampers the possibility for more than 220 yards. Wentz completed 12 passes following the injury to Kyler Murray.
T. J. Hockensen certainly benefits from the limited throwing strength of Carson Wentz. Hockensen caught 4-of-5 targets for 36 yards. The yards may not be there for Hockensen going forwrd. However, we feel the targets and receptions will usually land around 3-6 each contest. We are taking on a little extra juice by dropping the receptions down to three. Having said that, Hockensen appears to be a consistent source of reliability for Wentz in Minnesota's offense.

NFL Same Game Parlay Betting Strategy
NFL same game parlays let bettors combine several predictions from one matchup into a single ticket. While adding legs can produce a more appealing payout, it also reduces the margin for error. Successful construction starts with a strong opinion about the game and selections that tell a consistent story.
Create a Game Script First
Begin by considering how the matchup is most likely to develop. A team playing with a lead may run more frequently, while a trailing offense could produce additional pass attempts and receiving opportunities. Use that projected game script to guide every leg instead of choosing unrelated bets based solely on their individual odds.
Target Outcomes That Work Together
Look for selections that benefit from the same result. A quarterback passing-yardage over may pair naturally with a top receiver's yardage over, while a favorite to win can complement a rushing prop for its lead running back. Be cautious with legs that require opposing scenarios, such as betting on a comfortable victory while also expecting the winning team to throw aggressively throughout the second half.
Make Your Best Bet the Foundation
Start with the market in which you have the strongest conviction, then add only legs that reinforce that position. Do not include a selection simply because it significantly increases the payout. Each additional leg lowers the probability of winning, so a focused two- or three-leg parlay is often more defensible than a larger ticket built around weaker opinions.
