NFL Week 1 Same Game Parlays & Picks
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Philadelphia Eagles @ Tennessee Titans
- Leg 1: Over 40.5 Points (-101)
- Leg 2: Devonta Smith 50+ Yards (-177)
- Leg 3: Dallas Goedert 3+ Receptions (-326)
Neither the Eagles or Titans looked particularly efficient on Sunday. If we weren't being so nice, we'd say both teams appeared to struggle on the offensive. While things in Philadelphia were bad, the situation in Tennessee was an absolute disaster. The offense barely got off the ground in a home game to open the season against the team that fired their current coach.
Hopefully Philadelphia and Tennessee fell victim to either first game jitters or a complete failure in preparation. 41 points is an extremely low number for a professional football game, and taking the points up seems like a logical plan of action. If only one team goes off we are more than likely going to cover. Should this become a shootout, this will be a very easy clear.
Philadelphia seemed to depend on Dontayvion Wicks for the deep passes, while the volume went to Dallas Goedert. The TE for the Eagles caught four passes for 77 yards and a touchdown on Sunday. It's clear Goedert is going to be the safety valve for Jalen Hurts this season, and three receptions seems quite comfortable. Devonta Smith hauled in three receptions for over 50 yards, and didn't really play that much of a role in the win against Dallas. We expect a much more active Smith against Tennessee, and he should shatter the 50+ yards required.
Parlay Odds: +252
Cleveland Browns @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Leg 1: Buccaneers Moneyline (-455)
- Leg 2: Baker Mayfield 2+ Touchdowns (-115)
- Leg 3: Baker Mayfield 210+ Passing Yards (-135)
This is our Baker Mayfield parlay for the week, and it's a beauty. No muss, no fuss, only a straight-forward correlated play that returns a solid ROI. Truth be told, we wanted to take Baker for rushing yards in this contest. Since that was not an option, and the yards are based off a terrible performance, it stands to reason to take the yards at what will more than likely be the lowest total of the season.
Mayfield against the team that ultimately chose Deshaun Watson over him sounds like the perfect environment for Baker to absolutely smash this weekend. When you factor in Myles Garret is no longer with the team, the outlook becomes even rosier. If you wanted to inflate this parlay a little further to 250+ yards and three touchdowns, we wouldn't argue with that thinking at all. Baker has all the incentive and definitely the fire within to cook the Browns until the Buccaneers take the veteran quarterback out of the game late in the fourth.
Parlay Odds: +196
New Orleans Saints @ Baltimore Ravens
- Leg 1: Under 48.5 Points (-157)
- Leg 2: Lamar Jackson 25+ Rushing Yards (-336)
- Leg 3: Devaughn Vele 25+ Receiving Yards (-276)
This may be the most difficult contest of the slate to read. The offense for the Saints and Raven were in pristine working order last week. Normally this is a great spot to ride the hot hand, and take advantage of a shallow line. Having said that, we are going to take the contrarian angle, and bank on regression. The Ravens and Colts matched up against horrific defenses in their opening games. That isn't the case this week. New Orleans needed overtime to reach 30 points in Week 1.
Lamar Jackson rushed for 40 yards on seven carries, while scoring one touchdown with his legs. We took sone off the top on the 40 yards (-114) to provide a bit more safety. Jackson's longest rush was 19 yards in his first game, and if he can get anywhere from 15-20 yards on one rush, then we are flying over the 25+ threshold.
Devaughn Vele may not have been the most dominating receiver on New Orleans against Detroit. However, 69 yards on seven receptions is more than serviceable. Tyler Shough sought out Vele continuously on Sunday, and that's probably going to be a consistent scenario this season.
Parlay Odds: +190
Green Bay Packers @ New York Jets
- Leg 1: Over 39.5 Points (-239)
- Leg 2: Garrett Wilson 60+ Receiving Yards (-162)
- Leg 3: Tucker Kraft 25+ Receiving Yards (-364)
The New York Jets put on an impressive performance to start the season, while the Packers completely melted down late in the game against Minnesota. Green Bay was dominant in the passing game early on, yet failed to keep up the production for the final 30 minutes. The Packers scored 22 points, and certainly left a bunch of points on the board. The Jets scored 22 points as well on 367 total offensive yards. The Packers and Jets showed they are capable of putting up points, and should clear the 39.5 points quite easily.
Garrett Wilson was easily Geno Smith's favorite target in the first contest for the Jets, and we feel that continues again this weekend. Wilson caught six passes on seven targets for 79 yards. The closest player behind Wilson accumulated three targets.
The passing attack for New York and Green Bay is the catalyst for the back end of this parlay: Tucket Kraft was targeted on six plays, and brought in three passes for 65 yards. Kraft's longest reception was 30 yards. That would be take care of his yards in one pass should he see an opportunity for an open field.
Parlay Odds: +160
Minnesota Vikings @ Chicago Bears
- Leg 1: Bears 24+ Team Points (-190)
- Leg 2: Carson Wentz Under 215.5 Passing Yards (-111)
- Leg 3: T.J. Hockensen 3+ Receptions (-292)
The Bears came out swinging in their first contest. The offense was masterful, scoring just under 60 points. That seems like a quite a steep cliff to completely fall from, so we are going to back Chicago to score at least 24 points against Minnesota. The Bears unloaded for over 500 yards of offense in Week 1. The 59 points will be tough to repeat, but 24 points or more sounds much more reasonable.
Carson Wentz threw for 133 yards on 19 attempts against the Packers. The threshold for this prop is almost 90 yards over the first week for Wentz. The volume for Wentz severely hampers the possibility for more than 220 yards. Wentz completed 12 passes following the injury to Kyler Murray.
T. J. Hockensen certainly benefits from the limited throwing strength of Carson Wentz. Hockensen caught 4-of-5 targets for 36 yards. The yards may not be there for Hockensen going forwrd. However, we feel the targets and receptions will usually land around 3-6 each contest. We are taking on a little extra juice by dropping the receptions down to three. Having said that, Hockensen appears to be a consistent source of reliability for Wentz in Minnesota's offense.
Parlay Odds: +340
Pittsburgh Steelers @ New England Patriots
- Leg 1: Over 41.5 Points (-108)
- Leg 2: Rhamondre Stevenson 2+ Receptions (-439)
- Leg 3: No Team To Score Three Unanswered Times (+130)
Patriots didn't show much on the offensive end in their first contest, and things took a dramatic turn for the worse when A.J. Brown suffered a high-ankle sprain. That was a shock to the system, and it zapped New England of any momentum for the remainder of the game. With over a week to recover, the Patriots should be able to formulate a game plan to improve in the scoring department. Pittsburgh put up 20 points on the Falcons, with most of the production coming from the passing game (206 yards). A couple of early scores and we are well on our way to 42 combined points.
Rhamondre Stevenson caught five passes for the Patriots against the Seahawks to open the season. Stevenson proved to be a very reliable source of receptions without the services of A J. Brown. New England will more than likely be forced to get the ball out of Maye's hands quickly against the rush from Pittsburgh. Stevenson should be open for at least two receptions.
The last leg of this parlay is a stranger selection. Having said that, neither of the offenses for Pittsburgh or New England appear to be of the dominant variety. The current spread is less than a touchdown, and we just don't envision either team scoring on three consecutive drives before their opponent can put points on the board.
Parlay Odds: +440
Carolina Panthers @ Atlanta Falcons
- Leg 1: Panthers Moneyline (-155)
- Leg 2: Tetairoa McMillan 40+ Receiving Yards (-263)
- Leg 3: Bryce Young 200+ Passing Yards (-202)
No need to elaborate too much on this parlay. It gets worse for Atlanta by the day, and the Panthers should be looking to pounce on a vulnerable opponent. The Panthers opened as favorites at -125 (-1.5). The moneyline is now over -150, with the spread increasing to -2.5. The public is heavily on the side of Carolina, and we are in agreement. The Panthers showed their offense is very capable of piling on the points. Whereas, the Falcons scored 13 points on 228 total yards in their first contest.
The next two legs correlate with each other, and the pairing seems quite ideal. Bryce Young accumulated over 350 passing yards on 37 attempts against the Bears. If Young can produce that type of volume once again, he may have 200+ yards by halftime. Jalen Coker was the top option in the first contest for Carolina with eight receptions for 138 yards. Tetairoa McMillan chipped in 75 yards on five receptions. We dropped McMillan's yards to 40+, and that should be no problem if the young receiver is targeted on eight plays or more once again.
Parlay Odds: +186
Las Vegas Raiders @ Los Angeles Chargers
- Leg 1: Raiders +14.5 (-315)
- Leg 2: David Njoku 3 + Receptions (-142)
- Leg 3: David Njoku 25+ Receiving Yards (-117)
Our next selection doesn't yield the highest return. However, there's something to be said for stacking singles on your parlays. Sure, the nine-leg parlay is impressive (most likely annoying) to your friends in a group chat. Beyond that, it's not a strategy that will consistently pay off. You also do not have to take a smaller parlay only once... If you feel confident enough, run the same play 10X's. The only right path to engage in sports betting is in regards to comfort, enjoyment and profit. There's no cool way to win or lose.
The Las Vegas defense performed at a very high level in their first game, with the team recording five sacks on the day. The Raiders forced two turnovers against Miami – one interception and one fumble. The Raiders run game was the catalyst for the offense, totaling 130 yards on the ground. Las Vegas kept it simple with run plays and screens to Austin Jeanty. The Raiders are not looking to throw deep passes, which means they are going to grind the clock as much as possible, while limiting possessions for the opposition. In that scenario, covering 15 points will be extremely difficult for the Chargers.
David Njoku was the only receiver other than Ladd McConkey to record at least three receptions or more in the first game for Los Angeles. McConkey will not be available on Sunday, which could result in the excess targets going to David Njoku. The tight end caught all five targets for 58 yards, with a long reception of 15 yards. He was easily the most reliable receiver on the field for Herbert. Without their top receiver on the field, David Njoku should see a large share of the targets in the passing game.
Parlay Odds: +172
Jacksonville Jaguars @ Denver Broncos
- Leg 1: Trevor Lawrence Under 33 Passing Attempts (-123)
- Leg 2: Evan Ingram 5+ First Half Receiving Yards (-240)
- Leg 3: Wil Lutz 2+ Field Goals (-171)
The original plan was to grab the rushing yards for Trevor Lawrence. The odds for that prop are not currently available, so we pivoted to another area where we may have a small advantage. The Jaguars decimated the Browns on Sunday (34-10) , and despite throwing for four touchdowns, Trevor Lawrence was not slinging the ball around the field by any means. Lawrence attempted 23 passes against Cleveland. The contest against Denver stands to be much closer. Yet, tacking on an extra 10 passes seems a bit excessive.
Evan Ingram was the only Broncos receiver to score on Monday, and Bo Nix appeared very comfortable looking his way early on. Ingram caught 4-of-6 targets for 43 yards against Kansas City. The Broncos will surely need Ingram when trying to convert on their possessions in the first half. This should result in five or more yards through the first 30 minutes of gameplay.
Wil Lutz was only called open on for one field goal on Monday night, and the veteran kicker knocked it through the uprights (31 yds). We expect a few more opportunities in this contest, when the lights aren't so bright for the Broncos. Lutz closed out last season making two or more field-goals in 4-of-6 games.
Parlay Odds: +274
Miami Dolphins @ San Francisco 49ers
- Leg 1: San Francisco Moneyline (-900)
- Leg 2: Kaelon Black 30+ Rushing Yards (-182)
- Leg 3: Kaelon Black Anytime Touchdown (+235)
This was supposed to be our long shot parlay for the slate. The oddsmakers did quite the job on the return for Kaelon Black to score a touchdown, and here we are at +345. A fantastic return for sure, yet, our aspirations aligned more with a +400 profit at the very least. We will take what we can get in an advantageous position, but we are not exactly happy about it. Sometimes you have to tip your cap, and accept that the best laid plans...
Kaelon Black rushed for only three fewer yards than the lead back for San Francisco, Christian McCaffrey. The rookie running back led the 49ers in rushing attempts with 14, compared to 10 from CMC. Black is currently listed as questionable with a groin injury. So, keep an eye on the situation over the weekend. Given the injury designation the +235 return for a touchdown makes even less sense. If Black is unable to go, we are replacing the two legs with Purdy 10+ yards rushing and 3+ total team touchdowns for San Francisco.
Many view this as a trap game for San Francisco considering they are returning from uncharted territory, combined with their remarkable performance against a heavily favored Rams team. Maybe that would be the case if this wasn't the opening home game for a clearly rejuvenated and hungry 49ers team. I had no problem taking the -12.5 points for San Francisco early on in the week, and confidently feel the Niners will be 2-0 going into Week 3.
Parlay Odds: +345
Seattle Seahawks @ Arizona Cardinals
- Leg 1: Under 45.5 Total Points (-220)
- Leg 2: Tyler Allgeier 2+ First Quarter Rushing Attempts (-308)
- Leg 3: Jason Myers 2+ Field Goals (-132)
Our next game is entirely more intriguing than how it appears on paper. The Cardinals shocked the Chargers last week, and have already cleared a quarter of their projected wins on the season. Seattle lost their starting quarterback (glute) in their first contest, and will have to rely on backup option Drew Locke. Seattle should put heavy emphasis on rushing the quarterback in an effort to disrupt Jacoby Brissett from finding easy looks downfield. Whereas, Seattle's offense takes a massive downgrade in regards to production with Locke at the helm. Points could be scarce in this contest. Give us the Under on an alternate total of 45.5 points.
Tyler Allgeier rushed the ball on 17 plays for the Cardinals on Sunday. We may still have a few more weeks before Arizona gives the bulk of the carries to rookie Jerimiyah Love. Allgeier rushed for over 60 yards against the Chargers. Should Arizona record more than one first down in the first 15 minutes of gameplay, Allgeier stand to have two attempts or more.
Jason Myers was 2-of-2 on field-goal attempts in Seattle's first contest of 2026-2027. Myers has made three field goals or more in three consecutive games against Arizona. Two successful kicks sounds like quite the bargain. The kicker for Seattle hit at least two field goals in five out of the last six games against an NFC West opponent during the regular season.
Parlay Odds: +224
Washington Commanders @ Dallas Cowboys
- Leg 1: Under 55.5 Total Points (-213)
- Leg 2: Javonte Williams 2+ Receptions (-333)
- Leg 3: CeeDee Lamb 60+ Receiving Yards (-218)
We close out the slate with a contest involving the Commanders for the second time in as many weeks. The standard line for combined points is currently at 51.5. That seems a bit aggressive given the Cowboys and Commanders combined for 42 points in their first contests. An increase of 10 points sets off a few red flags for us. Pushing the points up to 56 gives us a little extra cushion.
Dak Prescott connected with Javonte Williams on five passes against New York. Williams was called upon frequently, and that's a scenario that should carry on through the season. The running back for Dallas hauled in all of the passes thrown his way, and definitely showed more than enough reliability to catch passes out of the backfield. We don't expect five receptions or more again, but two receptions feels very attainable against Washington.
CeeDee Lamb led the Cowboys in targets in their first game. However, the elite wide receiver only managed to accumulate 44 yards. Lamb brought in five passes, but could not break one for a sizable gain. The receptions should increase on Sunday, which would result in a bump in yards for Lamb. The wide receiver for Dallas finished with 60 yards or more in 4-of-6 home games in 2025-2026.
Parlay Odds: +178
