NFL Sunday Night Football Picks & Player Props: 49ers vs. Bills (Week 13)
The Buffalo Bills will welcome the San Francisco 49ers to Highmark Stadium for tonight’s Sunday Night Football matchup.
The weather certainly favors the Bills in this one. There’s a ton of snow and chilly temperatures and San Francisco is traveling cross-country for this game.
Additionally, 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy is questionable for this game. While he’s expected to start, Purdy missed last week’s game, and the 49ers fell to Green Bay, 38-10. His availability is crucial ahead of this matchup.
With that out of the way, I’ll add my favorite bet and a player prop for tonight’s Sunday Night Football game.

San Francisco 49ers vs. Buffalo Bills (Game Pick)
The San Francisco 49ers are below .500. The season could be in jeopardy with a loss to the Bills on the road. Ultimately, the offense hasn’t performed near expectations. The 49ers have scored just 23.64 points per game and have gained below 250 yards passing and 138.36 yards on the ground.
With poor weather conditions, there will likely be more running. The Bills have allowed just 119.09 yards per game on the ground this season. Buffalo has also been much better at tackling this year. In the snow, tackling hurts a little more. But the Bills have the technique down. The 49ers don’t.
In addition, the Bills have a worse secondary. But it’s hard to imagine both teams air the ball out with precipitation and freezing temperatures tonight.
It’s still stunning that the cheapest secondary market ticket is $65. Who wants to sit in this weather? I’ll enjoy betting on this game from my couch.
Let’s go with Bills -6.
Pick: Buffalo Bills -6 (-115)
San Francisco 49ers vs. Buffalo Bills (Player Prop)
Christian McCaffrey has added at least 60 rushing yards in eight of his last 10 games. While he only had 31 last week, it’s because the 49ers trailed early and had to be much more aggressive against the Packers.
This game won’t get out of hand. The Bills will likely win by one or two scores. Ultimately, Buffalo has allowed nearly 21 rushing attempts to running backs per game this season. They’ve also allowed a long rush of 36.45 yards.
McCaffrey saw just 11 carries last week. But I’d imagine he’ll get to 20+ in this one. With 20+ rushing yards, he’ll add at least 60 rushing yards in tonight’s game.
Pick: Christian McCaffrey Over 59.5 Rushing Yards (-120)
