      Buccaneers vs. Bears (Game Pick)

The Buccaneers earned an ugly 16-0 win over the Atlanta Falcons in a monsoon last week. The team rarely threw the ball and let Bucky Irving become the workhorse. The Buccaneers will likely have a more balanced attack tonight. Before the 16-0 win, Tampa Bay added 43 points against Carolina in a more balanced effort. It won’t be nearly as easy against the Bears, but even despite the new addition up the middle, the Bears have been weak against the run and in coverage. Tampa Bay should be able to exploit these areas and score at a reasonable rate.

On the other hand, the Bears have scored 30+ points in three straight games. At least one team has scored 30+ points in each of the Bears’ last four games this season. The Buccaneers have been better defensively than the Bears this season. Pro Football Focus (PFF) rates the secondary much better. But the pass rush hasn’t been super effective. Give Caleb Williams time in the pocket, and he will burn you.

The Bears are averaging 5.8 yards per play and almost 27 points per game. That should continue against Tampa Bay, who have allowed 151 points this season.

Give me the over in this one.

      Pick: Over 47.5 Points (-108)

Caleb Williams Passing Yards (Player Prop)

Caleb Williams has completed at least 22 passes per game since returning from injury. He’s hit his prop total in all three games and now faces a Buccaneers squad that ranks 23rd in passing yards allowed on the road this season.

Williams has many effective receivers who can earn yards after the catch, such as Luther Burden III and Rome Odunze. In a game that could be a seesaw, I’ll take Williams to pass for at least 244 yards. He’s hit this line in 80% of games this season, missing this total in his game against Minnesota, where he got hurt. Williams has averaged 253.4 passing yards per game, despite coming out of one of those games,

Pick: Caleb Williams Over 243.5 Passing Yards (+108)
