Green Bay Packers vs. Seattle Seahawks (Game Pick)
The Seattle Seahawks have quietly put together a four-game winning streak. They’ve added wins against the 49ers, Cardinals, Jets and Cardinals, with three of the four games being on the road.
In their latest home win, the Seahawks held the Cardinals to six points and won 16-6 on November 24. The Seahawks will have a challenging defensive task against the Packers, who have scored 26.85 points per game and have a potent offense led by Jordan Love.
Yet, it’s not just Love. Josh Jacobs has resurrected his career with more than 1,000 yards rushing and 11 rushing touchdowns ahead of Week 15. He’s been an incredible addition to the Packers this season. The run game has earned nearly 145 yards per game. Meanwhile, the Seahawks haven’t even earned 100 yards per game on the ground this year.
Additionally, the Packers have been better at stopping the run. They’ve allowed just 106.92 yards per game on the ground, while the Seahawks have allowed the opposition to total 126.54 yards rushing per game. The Seahawks might make more plays on special teams. However, the Packers have a better offense and a much better offensive line, especially in the passing game.
Despite being on the road, I’ll ride with Packers -2.5.

Josh Jacobs has earned at least 19 carries in only 38% of his games this season. He came up just short last week, totaling 18 carries in a loss to the Lions. Ultimately, he’s hit 18 carries in three games this year, which has hurt his 2024 rate.
That said, the Seahawks are much better at defending the pass. Seattle has allowed only 213.69 yards in the air and has given up 126.54 yards on the ground per game.
If I like the Packers to win, I certainly think they will run the football late in the game. Most teams plan to run the football against the Seahawks. After all, Seattle has allowed 22.42 rushing attempts per game to running backs and nearly 110 yards per game. Jacobs will get a fair load against the Seahawks.
Let’s take Jacobs to earn at least 18.5 carries tonight.
