Despite an 11-3 record, the New England Patriots will be underdogs on the road against a 7-7 Baltimore Ravens team. Ultimately, the Ravens are only sitting at .500 but still have a chance to win the weak AFC North division this season. This is an important game for both teams. New England Patriots vs. Baltimore Ravens (Game Pick)

The Baltimore Ravens have performed well below expectations this season. However, they’ve got three more regular-season games to get right, make the playoffs and potentially get into the Super Bowl with Lamar Jackson at quarterback.

The Ravens are coming off a 24-0 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. The defense shut down Joe Burrow, and the offense did enough in the win. Ultimately, the offense has been inconsistent throughout the season. In that specific game, Jackson completed just 8-of-12 passes. The offense ran only 40 plays, while Cincinnati ran 71. Those stats don’t give you total confidence in the Ravens’ offense moving forward.

On the flip side, the Patriots lost a double-digit lead to the Buffalo Bills last week in a 35-31 loss. The Patriots had been on a long winning streak, but failed to beat their AFC East rival. Typically, the Patriots’ defense has played well this season. However, they’ve struggled a little bit against the run, which isn’t ideal when facing the Ravens.

Meanwhile, the Ravens are weak as a pass rush. That’ll give Drake Maye enough time to find his receivers, who have played incredibly well throughout the season. It’s not just Stefon Diggs, but Kayshon Boutte, Mack Hollins and even DeMario Douglas have contributed. It’s a solid group that’s playing well above expectations. Ultimately, this should be a close game, but I’ll trust the Patriots on the road.

    Pick: Patriots +3 (+100)

Drake Maye Over 241.5 Passing Yards (Player Prop)

Drake Maye has thrown at least 242 passing yards in 71% of games this season. He’s also hit this line in four of his last five games and eight out of his last 10 games.

Maye only finished with 155 passing yards against the Buffalo Bills. But that was mainly because the running game generated explosive plays, and the Patriots were trying to keep their 21-point lead. It didn’t work out, but with a 21-point lead, the Patriots were more conservative, with Maye throwing the ball only 23 times. He’s averaged nearly 29 passing attempts over the last 10 games.

The Ravens already rank 28th in pass attempts, 25th in longest pass, 24th in passing yards and 24th in pass completions allowed. Let’s take Maye to throw for at least 242 passing yards in this game.

Pick: Drake Maye Over 241.5 Passing Yards (-112)
