NFL Thursday Night Football TD Scorers Picks: Steelers vs. Browns
Last week’s NFL Thursday Night Football TD scorer picks added to our season-long profits as we cashed a Matthew Golden +210 anytime touchdown wager.
This week’s Steelers-Browns tilt doesn’t project to be nearly as high-scoring as the 49 combined points we saw in the Falcons-Packers matchup last week. This AFC North rivalry matchup is tied for the lowest projected total of the week (38.5 points), so I’m limiting my wagers to just one first touchdown scorer and one anytime touchdown scorer play.
Here are the best touchdown scorer picks for Week 4’s Thursday Night Football contest between the Steelers and Browns.

NFL Thursday Night Football TD Scorers Picks: Steelers vs. Browns
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Jaylen Warren First Touchdown Scorer (+450)
The Steelers’ offense took off in Week 3 - a big surprise given how well the Bengals’ defense had played through the first two weeks. In Weeks 1 and 2, Pittsburgh averaged eight offensive points per game, 249.5 yards per game and a 20% third-down percentage. They also had 11% of their pass attempts go for 20+ air yards.
In Week 3 alone, the Steelers scored 30 points on offense and totaled 411 yards, with a 58% third-down conversion rate and 24% of their pass attempts traveling 20+ yards in the air.
Pittsburgh’s willingness to take shots downfield should help Jaylen Warren find open running lanes. Warren took advantage of Rico Dowdle’s absence to score 20.6 fantasy points (eighth among running backs) while totaling a single-game career-high 176 scrimmage yards on 20 touches.
Warren led the Steelers’ backfield in snaps, routes and touches. He is the deserving shortest favorite to be the first touchdown scorer of the game, especially if Dowdle is once again ruled out.
Harold Fannin Jr. Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+275)
Browns tight end Harold Fannin Jr. has logged at least five receptions and 50+ receiving yards in back-to-back games. And buoyed by a two-yard second-quarter touchdown last week, he scored 24.1 fantasy points, which ranked third among tight ends.
But that wasn’t Fannin’s only touchdown of the game. It’s a good sign going forward that Deshaun Watson looked his way for the ultimate game-winning score from 14 yards out with under two minutes to go in the fourth quarter.
Pittsburgh’s defense has allowed 12 yards per reception and a 71.4% catch rate to tight ends this season, making this a great value play to double down. Expect Fannin to score for the second consecutive week.
